So even though I have my approval, it still makes me sick to my stomach to look at June to see yet another approval after 60 days when others in here have been waiting for as long as they have.

CIC needs to sort their crap out and get it together. We need everyone in May approved NOW!

Absolutely. This is totally unfair on so many levels. How would you feel if you wait in the bank for 3 hours and then another person gets served as soon as he/she walks through the door?

Be strong guys... your suffering (at least for Stage 1) should end soon.

;D No mail yet. I think he/she took the day off. I know if I call CIC they will give me the same line they gave me last week about April 30 etc.

I have no idea... I've seen US outland applications taking 3-4 months when the 1st step is completed.

Where did they transfer your case to? I see that you have Buffalo listed as you VO.

I thought as I read the AOR that it said Ottawa. Who knows? Just wasn't sure where to even look for future communication, my email or sponsor's email, or my address or sponsor address. It's a mystery I guess until someone moves forward after the changes.

I just called them - got through on the second attempt and was on hold for about 15 mins. But after talking to the lady she said they just opened my file 4.5 hours ago! She said sponsor approval should be completed shortly, within the next 3 weeks or so I guess they are composing a nice letter to me. Anyways, I got my client ID number now!

Hello,
Thank you for your advice, it is nice to hear from people who are in a similiar situation. I have been concerned with applying for my husband since I don't live in Canada at the moment and have no income from employment there. If you don't mind me asking, I noticed that your application was approved very quickly you do you have any advice or tips ? Do you think it helped your application the fact they you live with your husband? I plan on providing them with as many details as possible about our intent to live in Canada-from living arrangment, parent/friend letters,job searches,bank account statments....again any advice would be great

I received my email around 11am Eastern Time.

My AOR Came late at night maybe 8: 42 PM according to the email, and approval came at 6:42 AM according to the email. what does that mean? who knows lol.

Our AOR came at 630 pm Mountain Time. We did not receive approval via email.
