What's worse is the fact that I had to actually argue the point with some that it's not right. One would assume it was pretty much a given...

Its not about arguing, its just about getting information i think when one is expecting something anxiously and its not coming up or advising.
I think thats even why we all are here .

I have no idea... I've seen US outland applications taking 3-4 months when the 1st step is completed.

Where did they transfer your case to? I see that you have Buffalo listed as you VO.

From mid-january until now nobody has had principal applicant approved or their COPR others still remain from way before that. It would be great to know what is going on with the new process but all of us who have been approved after Buffalo closing have gotten LA as VO and we are told that Ottawa is helping out all the other VO's and processing our files. The COPR will be issued by Ottawa. No AOR's nothing and calling CIC will get you almost nowhere as they don't say anything about Stage 2. I guess we just have to be more Patient (i do not like that word anymore)Let's try to stay positive

I also applied on May 17TH and My visa office is New delihi so we are on same date. I have an question for you that when you called to CIC Agent sis they tell you something about your aplication? for example- they have received your file or nor ot aor number

I called them in today morning, agent just told me they dont have any information as of now for my case as they are working on appliations till april 30. He told you will get some info may in coming days and if you dont receive anything till mid of august then give us a call back with your courier tracking number.

I am not expecting anything before Wednesday. It's a long weekend so one day before and one day after people only think about their getaway

OMG for some reason I kept thinking the long weekend was in BC only ... but true..... every province has a ong weekend.....if i worked in CIC i would finish up all i have so that i can take a week off and not come back to work on tueday too... !! they should just finish up allll of April and May and take the whole week off
