no...this is standard...your app was filed April 30th.....so you still have a bit of a wait but the good news is they seem to be moving alot faster these days.....the day you received your aor is the day your name will pop up in the system!!! they probably told you not to call back until after the date on the website says for working on applicants so in your case when they say working on apps received May 1st....you can call and they will help!!!

My husband received the sponsor approval email today!!! It said that my application has been transferred to CPP Ottawa (my initial VO was Buffalo but I guess they transferred to Ottawa due to its closing). I can't believe how fast it was processed... maybe because of Buffalo office closure, they are estimating longer processing for Buffalo applicants so that they are processing the step 1 part faster? I have no idea... it is only still the beginning of the long journey though. I hope your spousal application as well as everyone's here will go trough soon!!!!

You must feel so relieved! And, my bad, it was only 37 days! YIKES! I am so happy for you yet very very anxious for my own sponsor approval too! It must be the new barcode system that helps to speed everything up! I hope we all hear back soon! Congratulations again!
