MAY 2011 Application- Process and Timeline

Congratulations for those who got the positive response and for those who did not hope they will have smooth procedure when they apply again .....

Today came to my mind one question , maybe it is early to ask about since it is related to medicals .... The VO to which I am applying is Beirut - Lebanon where I am residing currently but my wife and daughter are currently residing in Ukraine .... so we will have different medical practitioner and as I know medical practitioners will be responsible of sending results to embassy so what will happen if our medicals be recieved by VO in different time ????????

got my application back today in my PO box, the whole packet. reason cited: cap reached. i think it is fair, my application was received on 24th May, while on 21st May, number in my NOC category was 981. So no worries.

Sorry to hear so my friend , the good thing is that you can apply again soon ,,,, which VO you applied from and where to did you recieve your application back ? Have you got any kind of announcment before they sent it back ?

mine is like 50-50 until today. i will update everyone once I get news about it - be it positive or negative!

Yehia: my vo was buffalo, i got a cover letter saying we can not process your appli as the 1000 no. cap is reached in your category.
Ning: you are right. .
Shijoal: i think it is fair to assume that when one send one's appli there may be a backlog of 50-100 applications in the category (specially at later stage).

no wonder my CC was declined, it only had 15 digits instead of 16. sigh*

I'm thinking of resubmittin my papers before July 1. Will work on the bank draft first thing on tuesday. non working holiday on monday .

Isidra, is you NOC still open? If it's already capped, I am afraid they will return it to you. Why not wait for the new list which is only a few weeks away? Bcos u don't wanna be caught in the middle:
1. CIO receives ur application with the present rules, but cap filled or
2. CIO receives ur application and is processed based on the new rule, but your application fell short bcos u used the old rule. Dont know if I'm making sense. Mandie

Relax man, everyone has their own plan.
You have no choice but to apply after July 1st, and no one can tell you what the New list is going to be or what changes are going to be implemented.
Relax man......Also avoid giving half baked info advice to folks, thats just dangerous man...

Anyways as for the CAP remember the application reaching date and the CAP reached dates have a LAG, as per my knowledge, and, as informed by some very senior members here on the forum.
So if the application reached before the CAP is reached and the CAP is full after a couple of days or so it can mean you didnt make it......(No idea about the time Lag though).

well, i just would like to keep my spirit positive (for few remaining days/weeks) till it's returned back to me and says the same thing ;D
anyway, shijoal initial declaration is his agency applied for fsw2 (which is wrong) but he later rectified that its also cap reached. i want to see the same letter first to make sure!
