Its now more than 6 months now after sending full documents to London VO. I sent them an email after 4 months but they replied that they cannot provide any information at the moment and keep waiting. So I waited 2 more months and few days back sent them another email. Again this time they didnt provide any information about my 2nd AOR or 2nd File number. The simply replied to my query as below:

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed

I am now really worried about my documents as i sent several original documents and certificates. Although ECAS shows that RBVO and Pending for review but due to not getting 2nd AOR and 2nd file number i am really concerned about my documents.

Please advise what should I do? :-[ :-X :-[ :-X :'(

Don't worry...
It seems that they don't issue a file numbers for you just to make your expectations as low as possible.
Like you, I have sent my full document to Damascus VO 6 month ago and I do have a file number but it means nothing to me and many others.

Good luck

if reading CIC web side 14 month and it will be the Feb/ march 2012
but reading different forums it can be predicted that min 6 months more required to get our medicals
and after that almost 6 months to get visa
so hopefully next june / july we will get our porcess done

I hope so. Hope keep the life going forward.

Thanks Bhanump.

It is a long wait for medicals. As per my analysis in this forum, it's taking 4 to 6 months from the 2nd AOR to get the MR.

I am 0213 as well. I have been told to wait for approx 2 yrs by my VO. 6 months gone already.
your anticipations seem right, Nothing until June- October 2012. Canada is monitoring whether or not the already migrated 0213's are getting jobs or what. Skepticism !

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi.

You may have more than one application in process at the same time. If you already have an application for permanent residence in process there is no restriction against applying for a temporary visa or permit to visit or work or study in Canada.

In general, an applicant may apply for temporary resident visas while waiting for their permanent resident application to be processed. However, all applicants wishing to become temporary residents of Canada must satisfy an officer that they will leave Canada by the end of the temporary period authorized for their stay, that they will not contravene the conditions of admission, and that they are not in a category of persons inadmissible to Canada under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.

Each case is decided on its own merits. In reaching a decision, an officer considers several factors, which may include the applicant’s travel and identity documents, the reason for travel to Canada and the applicant's contacts there, the applicant s financial means for the trip, and the applicant's ties to his or her country of residence, including immigration status, employment, property, and family ties. In order to issue a temporary resident visa, an officer must be satisfied that the applicant will respect the terms and conditions placed on their temporary entry to Canada, and depart at the end of their authorized stay, regardless of the outcome of their application for permanent residence.

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

mate dont worry about it...nothing wrong has gone in your case so far expect unforyunately your AOR seems to be lost in the mail so far...as far as their email replies are concerned..probably some buggerhead did'nt bother to check that you wanted your new file number.....dont worry about it...email them again and just mention in one liner that you have'nt recieved your AOR and would like to get your new file number for furture correspondence.

Dear Haral,

You were absolutely right. My 2nd AOR seems to be misplaced in mail. Because I received London office reply yesterday and they informed me that my 2nd AOR was mailed to me on 5th April. however they did not mention the 2nd AOR number in the email again.

What do u suggest now? should I still wait for the mail? Or should I send them email again that my AOR is not received and lost in mail so ask them to send by email the copy of the same letter?

Regards

just check the email they sent once again...the new file number should be on top left hand below or over the usual greetings....if you cant than wait for a month or two............

Dear Peers,

How can I check my ecase.... I submitted all my doc in Jan 2011 including IELTS score 7. waiting for my 2nd AOR # from CHC london...in May 2011 i delivered and the details of my NEW BORN daughter is not informed to CHC london. Should I wait for the 2nd AOR # or wait for the medical request and then can send together. My agency said any doc sent in middle might delay further the process...

Please advice...
