thank you olabisi... as of now i'm still depressed. i'll go to my consultant later to check what we can do about my case. it was just hard to accept at this point because as per assessment, I got a total of 80 points for me. Based on the number of years i worked, i know i am really qualified for the job title i have.

@ JMPA,

I am sorry to hear this...but its alarming thing.... it is clear that they chraged all the credit cards/DD without reviewing the application and now the are doing this.

Also its strange that CIO only sent the letter otherwise normally they sent full package back.

Dear JMPA, can u plz tell what is the date on CIO letter and when it was received to u? which country r u from?

@ ALL

no one from ppl of London VO received AOR yet :( just hoping for the best and praying to Allah Almighty for success,.

Application: Bxxxxxxxxx

Dear xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:

We have received your application for permanent residence in Canada in the Federal Skilled Worker Class on 05 May 2010.

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008. These instructions specify that only applicants who have an offer of Arranged Employment, applicants who are legally residing in Canada for at least one year as a Temporary Foreign Worker or an International Student, or applicants who have work experience in certain listed occupations are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

You have not indicated in your application that you have an Arranged Employment Offer or that you are legally residing in Canada for at least one year as a Temporary Foreign Worker or an International Student. Your application has therefore been assessed on the basis of whether you have work experience in the list of occupations eligible for processing. These occupations are identified by codes and described in the National Occupational Classification (NOC). You may access the list of eligible occupations at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list

You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC code: 0111- Financial Manager (Bus), Financial Manager. Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the instructions identified by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism and published in the Canada Gazette on 28 November 2008, the main duties that you have listed do not indicate that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties. As such, I am not satisfied that your experience corresponds to NOC 0111- Financial Managers.

For the reasons outlined above, your application does not meet the requirements of the Ministerial Instructions and your application is not eligible for processing.

The fees that you have paid are refundable. You will receive a cheque within eight to

twelve weeks at the address provided in your application. If you have changed your address please advise us immediately of the new address. Address changes should be faxed to (902) 270-3561.

Please note: The Fax number listed above is solely for the purpose of providing an updated address. Any communication/queries other than an updated address to this Fax number will not be actioned.

X The fees that you have paid are refundable. You will receive a credit on the credit card

provided within eight to twelve weeks.

This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your Fee Payment Form (Immxxxx)

authorizing CIC to take payment of processing fees using the credit card details provided.

Since your application is not eligible for processing, the credit card was NOT charged and no charges will appear on your credit card statement.

There are many ways to immigrate to Canada. Although you have not satisfied the requirements to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Class, you may qualify under another category. To learn more about your options, visit: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

NOTE:

To assist in determining if you qualify to apply under the Federal Skilled Workers Class, you may wish to complete the self-evaluation tool at the following website:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/tool/index.asp

For information on which skilled worker occupations are eligible for processing, kindly visit the website at:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp#list

Thank you for your interest in Canada.

i think they refused you because of above reason. do you have a right of appeal?? if not i think you should reapply again. all the best to you. do not loose hope or dishart as failure is the first foot step towards success. What God does is always beneficial towards human beings.................

we are so sorry for your case. Plz let us know what have you described in your duties? b'cause i'm on the same NOC
