Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if any one has any information about how long it takes for PR visa issue after submitting passport(s). Thanks.

Hello Angelpot,

No say for long time, hope you are fine. Did you send your passports to LAVO? do you know how long will it take for passport stamping and returning from date of receiving them? I sent mine to Detroit on 6th of this month. Hopefully we hear some good news in near future, God bless.

Bhanump.

Hello guys,
Please suggest me according to the following situations:
I applied May 2,2010. (NOC 4132 University teacher)
Got 1st AOR have a number: B00.....(From Canada)
Sent documents: October, 2010
Got 2nd AOR: November,2010 with 2 tracking number: B01..... and E00....... (From singapore)

Last April, 2012-> Online status: Under process.
After that-> I cannot access with B01... or E00... , by Singapore tracking number. But accessible through B00... by the Canada number... with stale info like former address and "Decision made" etc.

Tried Case specific inquiry (2 times around 4 months)-> get no result/response....

Please guide me for the next.

regards
B

Hi All,
I received PPR from Ottawa office finally after sending them so many emails and asking as to when ill receive the ppr and calling the toll free number frequently.so all the hard work spent in following up payed off.

But the problem is I'm not in the us,I'm in India.is there a way to mail the passport from India?or do I have to send it through someone?
Thanks.

hi
how many days they give you to send passport? and do you plan to visit US ?

Need advice on one issue:

If a person has resided in 2 or more differenct states within India for more than 6 months at a stretch, do we need to submit the police clearance certificate for all the states or the police clearance certificate from the current state of residence would suffice?

Kindly help out on this

Hi Canada10091987,

Congrats first.

You can send your passport via Fedex or DHL. Though it would be wise to contact immigration office as to whether you can send it to your nearest visa office in India just to avoid confusion. Wish you speedy process.

Passports cannot be send cross border by post/courier... that's the law everywhere....

Every applicant applying from Canada sends their Passports from Canada to USA across border, so don't know what law are you talking about! Also I have advised the person to approach directly the Visa office in his case to confirm whether the issue could be solved by sending it to the nearest Immigration visa office which is probably in the same place/country he is currently residing in.

Dear all, my status has turned into In Process in march 15th, 2012. Still i have not received my MR nor any queries. Does this mean, file is still under process and still i have the chance to get rejected? Plz enlighten me. I will be grateful.

Hi Canada10091987,

I was talking to one of my friends over this weekend, and she had the same problem as yours. So the solution was that she talked to the immigration office and they let her submit her passports in Mumbai. I hope this information is helpful to to. All the best.

Cheers,
Bhanu.
