Guys, seniors please advise,

I reside in Canada and I just realized that my Canadian Visa got expired on 30 of last month. I am preparing documents to be sent to Buffalo VO and wondering will that be an issue? I have my permit till sept 2011 so my stay here will not be a problem. But will it effect my application? Will I have to extend my visa b4 I send my documents to Buffalo? Any hint is much appreciated.

Guys I sent an email to CHC London asking them if I can send officially certified photocopies of transcripts of all degrees in University sealed envelope and not original transcripts of degrees in university sealed envelope. Here is the reply I got from them. What you people think should I send them offically certified copies in sealed envelope or original transcripts in sealed envelope?? please comment. Thanks All.

You are not required to submit your original documents when submitting information in support of your application. Photocopies are acceptable. Notarized copies are not mandatory unless specified otherwise. The immigration officer may need to see the original copy of a document during the review process in which case you will be asked to send the original copy to our office.



However, you MUST submit your original police certificate(s) and language test results (if applicable). Also, translations must be notarized.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am from Islamabad / Pakistan. I have applied for Canadian Immigration (Federal Skilled Worker class) for which I have received my fist AOR asking me to submit requisite documents within 120 days period. Your required documents list states as

(6) EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

Transcripts. Original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university sealed envelope.


My query is that I have only one set of original transcripts issued by university and my university does not issue second set of originals unless the first set is lost. But they can provide certified copies of originals in university sealed envelope with University's Controller stamp and signature on the envelope. May I ask that can I do the same as university does not provide second set of originals.

My full documents delivered to VO yesterday, Alhamdolillah. Much relaxed now as last few weeks in getting all docs was very tough and praying for everything to go smooth (insha Allah).

Now another but looooong wait this time. But to be honest, even this long wait is okay if we get the +ve result in the end like we got our AORs in 06 months but after getting AOR we just forgot all the past things

I have a question from you from Visa office specific Instructions with regards to Identity dcouments which says

• Original birth certificates for you and your spouse or common-law partner, with certified translations into English or French.
  
• Original marriage certificate or "Nikah Nama" issued by an official responsible for the registration of marriages in the district in which the marriage took place and bearing the Nikah registry seal, along with a certified English or French translation.
  
  

What does it mean? Do we need to send original birth certificate and nikkah nama to CHC.

I recieved my 1st AoR yesterday. It takes almost 6 six months. My app was recienved May 17th. Long and nervous waiting for 1st Aor is eventually over right now. My visa office is Buffalo.

Wish a smooth process later for everyone.

You can check if CAIPS will have this data.
If it will have this info then you can order for CAIPS by paying some money and get the report in 4-6 weeks.

I followed the London VO guide exactly as asked and sent original birth certificates an marriage certificate to avoid any delay or question mark.
