I wish your prediction is correct, we should have some updates soon at least before end of this year.
I have a friend who was late january applicant got his PPR couple of weeks ago. So let's see
Similar story here. Friend A applied as a MPNP nominee at the beginning of last year (Januay 4th, 2013) and recently (about a month ago- Nov 2014) got a call asking him to mail his passport to immigration Canada as his application for PR had been approved!
Tip: For those of you who have done medicals and are still waiting on the RPRF... I suggest you contact immigration Canada as I have heard from several people who have gone through the experience that the RPRF came to them in a separate email but at the same time as the request for their medicals. I, personally, received both emails during the same minute... one (medical) after another (RPRF). On the other hand, friend B waited about 4 months from the date medicals were received to inquire for an update. Then, friend B was informed that his RPRF was overdue and that this one had been requested 4 months back. The issue here is that my friend B never received the RPRF email or it may have been deleted by accident.
Do keep an eye on RPRF since processing of your file is delayed until they receive payment.
This is a partial statement I received in my RPRF email:
"We wish to remind you at this time that if your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding, you must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF will be refunded if the application is refused, if you withdraw your application or if you choose not to use your visa.
If you delay the payment of the RPRF, your security or medical results may expire, which would delay the issuance of your visas. We therefore encourage you to pay the RPRF as soon as possible, by following these steps"
Good Luck!!!
