Hi @iSaidGoodDay , what does "localization support" mean?
I wonder why they didn't send my application to the VO in my home office. Do you think they will send it here to finalize it? Can RROC finalize applications?
Had you submitted documents that were in local language along with the translated docs? If you file GCMS, I think we should see RROC and some PACE group mentioned in it.

I'd someone love to read more on this topic, but is the simplest explanation of what RROC is/was: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/rroc-rapid-response-operations-center-ottawa-office-file-processing.732062/post-9400846

They are processing your background check now for sure.

I wonder if the guys that are with me in the first stage of "AORs" are also inland / CEC? (In case any of them are still following this forum)

I have not yet received any updates in my application other than my background check that once changed from NA to "in progress" and then to NA back again.

I know I shouldn't worry when only 38 days have passed (and a few of them they were on strike) but doing a simple benchmark on myimmitracker tells me that the vast majority got at least their medical exams passed.

I would say just wait, My first update (medical passed) is 47 days post AOR. I still can't use tracker, no change on anything else. My biometric didn't even get passed on the same day as my medical. You are totally fine.

Yes I had some documents in the local language, most of my documents were in English and one document in French (the medical test).

For applicants from India, are all your documents in English only?

Now that I read more about the RROC, I think maybe my file got transferred from the CIO to the RROC because I could have sworn that last time when I called they said CIO and also it seems that most cases get transferred to the RROC but they don't start there.

Yes, I had zero documents that needed any translation. There are some cases where someone could've a document that needs translation, but it isn't very common.

Let's see how long they take in your BGS.

Ah so there is no "local language" in India? That is interesting, I didn't know that. Thank you for the info.
I just checked myimmitracker and Jan 18 is the most recent AOR that got processed by the RROC. So I have to wait two more months for them to reach my AOR. Also I have read on this forum that the RROC sends a lot of ADRs, they have a "standards" ADR request that they send to most everyone. All of this is bad news . I am so sad I got moved to RROC.

I also Spoke to IRCC. They say my eligibility and BG are "IN PROGRESS". The tracker still says eligibility isn't started.
Hope she didn't read out the GCKey's generic information. Fingers crossed

Something weird happened to me today. For the background, I am exempted from the medical exam because I am an in-land applicant and had a medical exam result in 2020. My medical status on the tracker also changed to done on Apr 12. But today, I received a message from ircc that I need to medical exam within 30 days.
I really don't understand the reason. I don't mind doing it again but it irritates me that I need to spend 200 bucks and take time off from work for something that I am clearly exempted from. The only reason I can think of is they mistakenly marked me wrong.
Is it worth it to raise a webform or call ircc first for clarification? They might just give me some generic answer and 30 days is a very short time limit. (Just want to vent a little cause now my application is stuck at the medical stage again.)

aw, sorry to hear that. Maybe you should try to call them and ask them to check if this might be a mistake.

This has happened to a bunch of others too, they all ended up doing the medical exam: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/ircc-asking-for-medicals-again-is-that-a-glitch.791897/

No one in the thread knows what fixed the medical request glitch though.

Just do it as requested, I was in the same situation as you, you will see some movements after taking the medical exam.

Thanks. I raised the webform with old IME just for a chance. Booked an appointment request as well but not sure when they are available. I'm not in the rush so let's see how it goes.
Well, at least it's not rejected letter cause I got a mini heart attack when receive an email this morning.

I am happy to announce that I received my PPR today, 9 May !

By the way, IRCC is asking for my height and eye color to be submitted in the package to be sent to VFS. Do I just write in on a piece of paper and insert it in the package?
Congratulations buddy!

Wow we have 3 PPRs for March AORs today. The best day so far! o_O
