Hi,

I am in process of submitting an online application for a family member.

I just realized that "POLICE CLEARANCE CERTIFICATE" was not asked anywhere in the entire application?

Does this mean, one has to submit PCC only if asked by IRCC later during the process?

Please clarify.

Thanks
It depends... During the online application, you will be asked to list all the dates/times and places you were inside/outside of Canada within the "eligibility period". If any of these times that you spent outside of Canada was more than 183 days, you will be asked to provide Police Certificate from the places that you stayed more than 183 days. If you did not stay outside of Canada anytime more than 183 days, you will NOT be asked for Police Certificate
Hope this helps
