Sponsor approval on 27 July, 2021 which stated that application was being transferred to visa office but I have not had any updates from the visa office.

Yes! Ottawa VO app received March 23, 2020. Got DM March 8, 2021 and gcms notes confirmed “ready for COPR” on March 8, but it’s been silence since….

How long does it take to get GCMS notes?

Takes GCMS notes roughly 30 to 40 days to get from order. However, it might not be an assured duration as there are people who had theirs processed by over 30 days.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what can I do next to get some kind of updates from CIC.

I would wait the GCMS notes for understanding of the file, then contact IRCC or MP with the hopes to push the file.

At least you received a decision made. We have been waiting since 2019 and have heard nothing from IRCC besides the request to redo medicals. Really depressed about this whole process at this point. Super frustrating to see all the 2020/2021 people get PPR while we wait.

no IRCC will send you. You don't need to do it if IRCC didn't send you remed request.
