He should apply to extend his stay, no need to leave.

What does it say in the online client application status tool? Is the sponsor approval complete?
18/03/2020 Nearly 14th months and no Aor 2.File received by NDVO on 27th March2021 and again Ecas status changed into Process since 2nd of April 2021. No update after that .Gckey shows background check in process .Sponser is approved .

Medical and biometrics were done in nov 2020 and in dec 2020 file was transferred to ndvo....after that its complete silence..I ordered GCMS notes as well which says that sponsor approval passed, medical passed, criminality passed on the basis of biometrics and for security and background check its not even started yet....as far as i think the NDVO visa office has not even started any processing on the file

I got a message on ecas saying "We sent you a letter on March 3, 2021. Consider delays in mail before contacting us". I initially thought this was my biometric request letter, because on the same day I got that request via email. Did anyone else get a message saying they sent something in the physical mail? I have not received anything in my physical mail from them. Now I'm wondering if I may have missed something. I have DM, just waiting on PPR.

It almost certainly was in reference to your biometric request letter; I have the same line on ECAS received on the same day mine was sent via email. I imagine the fact it mentions ‘delays in the mail’ is just to cover for the fact that some people choose to receive correspondence via physical mail.
Congrats on DM!

Hi I got my PPR from NY office. I just wanna to know how can I submit my passport and what are the steps I need to follow . Is there any checklist to submit a package to vfs. Because when I read vfs website instructions they asked to submit the IRCC checklist with the package. And what is the TT services fee . How can I pay that fee? What type of info need to provide to vfs while writing an email for the two courier request to vfs? Please advise!! Thanks

I'm in the same situation! My visitor visa will expire in early July so I called IRCC to ask about that. Then, they said if I won't get PR till then, I should extend my visa ( We have to pay approximately $100 to extend). We have to apply to extend visa one month in advance at least.

Note if someone has less than a month before expiry of visa, apply to extend - ASAP. If the visa hasn't expired yet, it's still possible, right up to the last day.

The recommendation to apply a month before is just for safety - eg if it gets returned/rejected for a technicality, less chance applicant will be out of status. (If it's last minute and your internet goes out or there server is down for maintenance, that's your problem)

So yes, apply 30 days before, but that's not a hard deadline; if it's twenty-seven or seven days or seven hours before, you can still apply, do it soonest.

I know what you mean. But if I apply to extend visa and pay $100 and if very next day, I get CoPR, of course, $100 will be just waste, right? From my perspective, timing is really important. Of course, If I have to, I will do that enough before the deadline.

hi all,
right now i am in india with my wife. my wife medical expired on march 06/2021. is there any chances if ircc ask to do re-medical?
unfortunately i did not get any update since march 2020. no update at all.
now my wife is pregnant( good news)... i am praying that they will not ask to do re-medical bcs it will extend the time to process our file due to x rays.
IRcc again ask to do x ray in re-medical??

Question.2 ) are they ask additional document after baby birth? what type of form i have to submit any idea ?? thnx for help in advanced.
