Hi Everyone,

The PA just got invitation to pre-arrival message on GC key. The letter is just a standard letter and outlines what pre-arrival services are available, how to enroll, etc.

Does this letter mean anything in terms of application status (i.e how far the application has progressed)?

What date is your file from?
They have told me the same thing since Sept 28 but, still I haven't received the AOR yet. I am a March 19th applicant.

Thanks for the clarification. That's great news! But the PA has not yet given biometrics due to closed VAC in India. And also if we get PPR the VACs are still closed, so not sure how PP can be submitted?

Also, on the GC key nothing has changes under eligibility check & background check.

I am March 25th applicant, Outland. I received my Biometrics instruction letter yesterday, with File number starting with F000.. However, I am not able to link application or view it in ECAS. Is that normal?

You could try to get ahead of it by providing that information via webform, ideally with fully updated form, or at least info. May not work but worth a try.

If in doubt can write not applicable (if clearly not applicable) or attach letter of explanation why not completed. Not a great idea to not fill out parts, they mostly aren't optional (there are some that are not applicable but that's differnt).

Would you suggest I do the same if I haven't written names down in native language?
Form is otherwise fully complete with all details - addresses etc - duly filled and signed. All my documents were in English and not in Native Language - so wrote my name only in English as well.

is it someone has problem with gckey sign in? i tried to sign in but it reached into next page and then goes to security question page and i went to next one then it going back to home page of canada.ca

Try different web browser thats what I did or clear caches
