It usually comes on the 3rd day of receiving SA and AIP and/or up to a month depending on the officer in charge and location(how backed logged the location is) as CoPR is issued by the applicant’s local immigration office not CPC-Mississauga.
Thankyou so much

Hello everyone,

Can I have a question? What type of forms do you need to fill out for Open Work Permit? I am planning to submit our application ( PR application and OWP) together. I understand Open Work Permit application will have its own application and supporting documents.

These are the forms I have found, not sure if they are correct

1/Application to change conditions or extend your stay in Canada ( IMM5710)
2/Statutory Declearation of Common- Law Union ( IMM 5409)
3/ Authority to release personal information (IMM 5475)

Can you guys help me?

Thank you,

Javis

That’s the checklist, only select the box that applies to u.

https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5556e.pdf

For spouse or common-law, is pretty straightforward...application form, statutory declaration of common-law or marriage certificate, proof of payments, copies of travel documents, copies of current immigration status If applicable...it’s all on the checklist.

if sponsor changes jobs must you notify them
I mean, if u haven’t gotten SA yet then yeah might be a good idea to notify them.

I think it’s best to always do cos I have seen some people that were asked for resume from IRCC.

Thank you Smithham 3.

I am planning to submit Inland Spousal Sponsorship & OWP together. My spouse and I have been married for 2 years. These three forms are on the checklist IMM5556, did you submit all three forms?

1/Application to change conditions or extend your stay in Canada ( IMM5710)
2/Statutory Declaration of Common- Law Union ( IMM 5409)
3/ Authority to release personal information (IMM 5475)

I was just wondering if I need to submit IMM 5409 since we are not common-law, we have been married for 2 years now. I`m just a bit confused about this one.

I am planning to submit the following items in one package.

1/Checklist for PR application
2/ Check list for OWP application ( submit form IMM 5710 only, copies of passport, copy of Marriage Certificate and other supporting documents)
3/ Supporting documents for PR
4/ Supporting documents for OWP

Thank you,

Thank you,
Since you are married then no need for the statutory declaration of common-law, marriage certificate will suffice. Statutory declaration of common-law are meant for individuals who have cohabitated in a marriage like relationship for 12 consecutive months but are not actually married.

no need to submit this form IMM5475.
