Section 21 & 22 outline ineligibilty criteria like being on parole, or in jail, and other criteria like being involved in crimes against humanity...
Damn you got the same letter too ? Looks like both files are handled by one person. I noticed our time lines are moving with same time stamp

Exactly ...just your personal paranoia.

Yes I agree. I don't think at this point, they will return all applications and refund all the money since our economy is already troubled due to COVID. Even if they do, what is the worse that will happen, we will not get Citizenship now but we will get it later. They cannot say we will never get it as we have met the minimum eligibility standards to go to In Process status from Application Received status for a reason.

But I don't get it why would they send FP to someone who does not have the above in their record? Maybe a similar person had the same record so they want to make sure that person is not the applicant I guess? Looks like only few folks received it in this forum.

Makes sense. Stupid pandemic and lockdowns making me (and I suspect, others) crazy.

Received FP request today from Vancouver Office. Strange, because my processing office should of been Scarborough.
Nevertheless, some progress!

Could also be a blessing in disguise. Look at December applicants who are already citizens. I would gladly re-apply online if it meant I'll get my citizenship faster.

Sometimes they do it for Quality control. Random FP request without any record.

I wonder if that couldn't be used as ammunition, however, to the government, that this person doesn't have an intention to stay in Canada. Complete guess, but that might be something to consider if you decide to go this route. If you state that it's for work, maybe not stress the fact that the company is outside Canada? Just a thought..
Thanks
