hey guys, I have a question, will CIC ask for biometric first before the test invitation? and how they want the bio done?
I am about to flight back to my home country, was waiting so long for this test. So I am wondering if they really require a bio, can we do it overseas, at my home country. Cuz I heard that they plan for online test already

Yes, I'm still in March candidates, I sent it back AUG 14,2020

Really astonished! Just realized late 2019 applicants are just receiving test invites. When will it then get to our turn(March 2020)? Plus what does ircc do on your file when you are in process and yet to write the exams? The wait gives me a full blown migraine. Never have i seen such backlogs!

I guess early next march 2021, we should expect test invites, if all goes smooth, with the online mechanism. Which means we can expect citizenship by July 2021 or somewhat similar timeline, if we are lucky.

You only get a test invite when your eligibility for citizenship is cleared and passed. Once your test is passed, then your background security checks are completed and once that done, you get an oath invite.
