Drop IRCC a note. Suggest you call them. I only had to wait 20 minutes to speak to an agent today.

I did call them. They say that it's because the file hasn't gone into processing yet. They have no other explanation.

Hello all, When an application goes to "In Process", does it mean that they have checked for signatures on forms and that photos meet the requirement (stamp by photo studio etc.)?

YES.

That's what I think. In process means all documents are in order and fulfill IRCC requirements to move a candidate to the next stage: Citizenship Test

Can you please share the date when your file went into "In Process"?
They will not mail the book, you just need to download the PDF version from the link they sent.

I did order mine last Nov. 9 and I am surprised it arrived 1/1.5 weeks after I ordered (knowing that it is possible they will not ship/ send it).

This is my timeline so far:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on March 19, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on October 21, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on November 12, 2020.

I'm in the same boat. I didn't call but I sent them a webform inquiry. They got back to me and basically copy pasted the message I get when ecas says it cannot find my application. They added that they verified my info and it was okay. So... not sure if calling would make a difference. Its my husband's application and mine that just don't appear there, and i got my AOR Oct 20.
