So you've just gotten SA and AOR1 since March? That's a bit slow, if so. What is your local VO expected to be?

Oh ya...apparently there's a big backlog with NDVO. I've read that file transfers are taking 6+ months in many cases so you might be in for a long wait until you hear anything at all. Be sure to look for a thread specific to your VO for updates. Good luck!

Yes it takes 10 to12 months for them to complete an application

It takes that long with fast VO's and file transfers done quite quickly. I wonder if New Delhi takes longer...

I cant access my ecas is it also normal or it will be accessable once the vo start processing the application ?

GCKEY does mention background checks, it's under the "Details about your application status" section (second from last heading). Many people find that it will say they're processing the background check from the very start of their application process, which was the case for us. I'm not sure if it really means anything, or if they just try to get a head start on the background checks these days, but I think that's what they're talking about.
My GCkey says everything is in process since the day I linked it (early May; AOR1 time). But in my ECAS (PA-side) it says they started processing my application June 04 (a few days before AOR2). So it's hard to say lol

Ecas should be available to you at AOR1. Do you mean GCkey? Do you have a lawyer handling your app?

What are GCMS notes? What help are these? Plus how to get those
These are the notes about your application. So you can see exactly what stage it is in. Most useful before an interview so you know what the officer's concerns are. Check threads here on "GCMS" for details on how to order it online or simply Google it. Takes 30 days to reach you once ordered.

Thankyou so much for your quick response
You're welcome. I think it's a good idea to order at about the 6 month mark and maybe once or twice more after that....just to see how it's going :-) Good luck!
