Hello everyone.

New to the forum. Applied under FSW( NOC Code- 2132). 2 dependants. Timeline below

AOR- March 26
Medical passed- May 8
Biometrics Complete- May 26
RPRF request- June 4( Paid on June 7)

No updates since then. Was of the opinion that PPR would be received within 2 months from RPRF request. Sadly not the case. Spoke to a IRCC agent couple of weeks back. Asked her if there is any flag raised by the Visa officer which is causing the delay. Was put on hold and informed that everything is perfect nothing to worry about. Have to wait the usual processing time of 6months.

Yes. They said my previous work ex doesn't come under express entry criteria.
Sorry to hear about your application. Did your job duties match with that of NOC code?

One can only be patient if the application is strong. Otherwise, it sucks to get rejected after almost 6 months wait.

You did not provide an LOE as to why you are only submitting offer of employment, and no other proof of the employment. Also, you are missing duties and responsibilities, which is a big challenge. If you cannot get one from your employer, get your Senior to give a letter stating that, and attach their employment proof... Whatever you can give to provide your employment proof... not only offer letter... they need to see the employment started and continued.
Not sure if this wud help, but u can attach the corresponding JD + employment contract+salary certificate+salary slips in the absence of reference letter.

It worked in my case as we did not provide noc letter for current job.

No it wont work because he is missing roles and responsibilities. So that needs to be provided and a mandatory part. Basically they need to see your job type, full or part, weekly hours, employment period, start and end date, annual payouts and roles and responsibilities. Now, if you provide all these in one reference letter then ideal else they can be in separate letters, i.e pay stubs to prove annual payout ( or at least job was paid ) but all these are compulsory components and even if one produces many evidence but not have above mentioned fields then it depends upon visa officer.

Like @jigesh said. He needs to prove the tasks performed in the job... and that the job continued for a while. I have job offer letters from jobs I never joined... and to avoid use of such letters, they need the roles & responsibilities letters. For one of my jobs, I put a copy of my access card, other letters issued by the company over time, bank statement, visa copy from the employer, etc.

Ok great! Thanks so much all for helping understanding the notes!

I mentioned two work exps in my application ...one in India and one in US... For the India one, I did submit JD too in an affidavit ...

For.my US exp, maybe I didn't submit reference letter or JD, but I remember filling up the job duties in the application, and also I can get a letter from my director endorsing my JD ....in compliance with the NOC code...

So now what do I do, get a reference letter and JD endorsed from my director and upload through web forms? And what do I write to justify as to why I'm uploading these?

And if I submit the reference letter with JD and paystubs and everything as per latest date, will it be enough evidence and turn things in my favor? I mean I'm scared, hoping it's not too late ...

Thanks in advance for helping!

They dont care why you are uploading these. Ideally HR should give you a letter stating employment date, position, hours worked, FT or PT, compensation, benefits, Duties, And NOC Code... but that is IDEAL situation. Cover most of these in the letter, get stamped by company... signed by Director. Add a Letter explaining that you are submitting this now because you received it now or some other reason... and shoot it across.

Sure thank you!

I have my letter ready with all the components you mentioned above... Except for NOC code? That too should come from my director?

And should I include a copy of my resume too?

And is another offer letter or something needed coz it might become redundant and too much info? As they already have my offer letters...

Can u tell me a reason that I can write a letter on ... As to why I'm submitting all these docs pls

To all those whose aors have crossed or will cross 6 months and have not got any update on their profile since bio metrics, just be patient and hang in there.

I am an aor 4th march and was in the same boat untill yesterday when i got my 1st ghost update.

Just keep following up.
Any other update?

Got my 1st "ghost update" today morning :).
Finally some movement/progress
Congratulations for getting a new dawn...you will receive your PPR soon... can you please share your AOR n country of residence...mine is 7th March n still waiting for some progress.. never have received any ghost update till now...

AOR - 6th Mar
Country - India (submitted my application from Australia, now relocated to India last month)
FSW-O
Dependent - 1
Medical passed - 19th Apr
BIL - 19th Apr
Biometrics Submitted - 9th May
VO - Ottawa

No movement since then. My 6 months timeline is over and now it says "Your application is taking us longer than usual to process.
About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests and whether the application is complete."

From what I have seen on this forum, I believe now I will get a decision in 9 to 24 months (once it crossed the 6 months timeline, there is no time limit committed by IRCC)
I am now putting all Canada plans on hold and will now start Plan B of just continuing my life as is and if the PR comes then good otherwise I can say I tried.

Congratulations to all the people who got the PR within 6 months and all the best to everyone still waiting.
