The RCMP check was uploaded on May 1. The status was consistently showing as “your document has been uploaded” until the final Ghost Update on 6/26 it then changed to “NA”. It never had a chance to show as being reviewing or other forms of status.

CEC inland (China)

VO: CPC Edmonton

AOR: 03/09/2019
Medical passed: 04/15/2019
ADR for RCMP: 04/15/2019
Ghost update: 6/26/2019
PPR: 6/27/2019
Hi Lee,
Out of curiosity, I wonder how to find out about our VO office? I am also CEC Inland (Singapore) but instead of receiving PPR, I have received a letter for Landing Interview scheduled at IRCC Calgary. Is this the so called VO Office? My AOR was 10th April 2019 and my PR approved was 24th June 2019 pending for the Interview. Just wonder is it a confirmed approval or have to depends on the interview?
Hope someone can advise me too. Thank you in advance!

No update, but my application status has changed from

“We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.”

TO

“We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along.”

Don’t know if this means anything or it is just an automated message
May be just a ghost update

Hi there, I ordered the notes back in May and that was how I found out. If you wish you can still order the GCMS notes from IRCC to resolve your curiosity lol. It outlines all detailed processing activities in depth.

Thanks for your reply. But I am thinking the notes is not updated right? and since my interview is on the 18th of July, in order for me to get a more accurate notes, should I order it around 18th July itself? Sorry to trouble you. Thanks

I assumed that inland applicants gets shorter processing time but its all about luck. I am inland applicant.
Mostly it is shorter timerframe, but there is no way to ask them why a particular application took longer. Its just good luck if you get it in 3-4 months.. Though checking the norm is great, it is not definite. However, in my opinion, you are not very far.

@legalfalcon

Since AOR 98 days have passed.
An immigration consultant has applied my file. Biometrics submitted 16th May. I want to order GCMS notes but Contact details (number, address, email) on my file are of my consultant.
I want to understand :
1) Can i order GCMS notes without bringing it to the notice of my Consultant?
2) Who's contact details should be mentioned on the GCMS application? (Will order through getgcms).
3) The details contained in GCMS notes are usually till which date? Assuming it's ordered on 30th June.

Hi I called yesterday to CIC to know the status and the agent told me your file has been transferred outside Canada so he can't help me. My AOR is 25th April and present status is BG in progress. Now I have few doubts
1. Is transferring file outside Canada is considered good or bad
2. Does PNP candidates have an edge over FSW candidates.
3. Usually to which VO they transfer the file
4. When is the right time to order GCMS notes
5. When can I expect my PPR

Thanks in advance

YEs, the GCMS notes are requested under the Access to Information Act. They have nothing to do with the processing of your application. Also, when you request GCMS notes, your consultant has no notice of it and the GCMS notes are sent to you.

2) Who's contact details should be mentioned on the GCMS application? (Will order through getgcms).
When you request through GET GCMS, a pre-filled consent form will be sent to you. It will have a designated representatives details, who will be authorized to obtain the GCMS notes, but this form doe snot provide him the authority to replace your consultant.

3) The details contained in GCMS notes are usually till which date? Assuming it's ordered on 30th June
The GCMS notes are generated a few days after your place the request. Assuming you request on June 30, the GCMS notes will be generated between July 3-July 10.
