i am trying to contact but the number is busy. I heard it takes alot of time to get intouch with CIC agent.

I SPOKE TO CIC AGENT , HE DIDNT POINT OUT ANY PROBLEM, INSTEAD JUST TOLD ME PROCESSING TIMES VARY FROM CASE TO CASE N VISA PROCESSING OFFICER. HE ALSO MENTIONED THAT SIX MONTHS TIME IS GETTING OVR BY 20TH SEP N HOPEFULLY BEFORE THEN I MIGHT GET MEDICAL N BIO METRICS UPDATE IN QUICK SUCCESSION DEPENDING ON THE PROCESSING OFFICERS.

My question is if ur mep and bio metric comes in 6 months then what abt bg check, eligibility and criminality.

Unless ur mep is passed ur R10 is not considered to have been cleared.Without R10 you cant procesa to other phase.

Need some advise here. My last GCMS notes request was delayed and never received the notes. GET GCMS has said that they filed a request with IRCC to release the information on 7/10, and that if we don't hear back in 2 weeks then I would be within my rights to file a complaint with the Information Commissioner of Canada (ICC). It has been more than 2 weeks and I have not heard back anything from GET GCMS guys.

Has anyone filed such a complain with ICC and is it advisable? The GET GCMS people say that the complain does not impact the outcome of an application. Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

AOR - March 28
MEP- May 9th
Bio - May 22nd

Thanks in advance!
Read the email that was sent by GET GCMS. All your questions should have been answered in that email. It is pretty exhaustive.

My FDs are expired today and the amount is credited in my saving account, do I need to update anything? These FDs I have submitted as the proof of funds.

Six months is the time period for your application to be processed completely, not just the medical. Passing medical is the first step, then follows the eligibility and security phase which takes the longest time. So I am not sure whether this is a satisfactory reply.
If he mentioned that you’ll get all notifications in quick succession so was he implying that your EE account isn’t getting updated as it should? report the technical issues from your EE account if you think that could be the problem because there were instances where people had technical problems with their accounts.
I still think you need to follow up, at least on the medical. Raise a CSE as well and ask about Medical and the VO that has your file since it will take you sometime to get the gcms notes.

AOR: 6th Mar
MEP: 18th Apr
Biometrics submitted: 9th May

No change in the status ever since.
I was living in Australia and had applied from there. However I relocated back to India and I have raised a web form (twice in the last 30 days) to update my new address. I didn't get any acknowledgement or confirmation from CIC, so I called them. It still wasn't!!!
So the agent told me write an email to the Ottawa VO (where my application is stuck since May).
The most scary part was during the end of the call where the agent told me that the 6 month timeline is just an average and it could take up to year to get the PR visa!!
I was absolutely shocked to hear this as they have not mentioned anywhere that the 6 month time scale that we see on our account page is just some random average.
After reading some more bad stories on the Ottawa VO on a separate thread, I am convinced that I shouldn't waste any more time in checking my account page every week... They will make the decision whenever they want to and there's no need to make any plans basis the hypothetical 6 month timeline!

But a close relative of mine who has contacts in Canada, happens to say that Canadian govt passed a rule /thatlaw IRCCearliet this year must process applications within the 6 month timeline ... Don't know how much it's being put into effect though
