I got changed to "in process" today. Am I supposed to get an email when this happens?

Just an FYI, I received the email from CPC-M a day after ECAS switched to " In process"

After a day, you will get in the evening around 6-8pm, there is a automatic batch process to send these automated emails.

Do they send these emails on weekends?

Ecas updated. Permanent residency in process, May 18, 2017.

This is an extra line in our ecas.

For those wondering it means that the VO has officially opened and started working on the app.
i dont agree with this. it means that your file has been transferred. once the VO has OFFICIALLY started working on your file you will see another line added to your ECAS that states "We started processing your application on MM/DD/YYYY". This is considered AOR2. The status changing is NOT indicative of the VO even receiving your file... sorry

Do they send these emails on weekends?
no they dont, and remember that monday is a stat holiday in canada so one less day of processing next week... everything is closed for victoria day

we sent ours upfront, and they have been marked as passed.

There is no section in the CIC account as well as ECAS does not show any information for PCC.
Ikr ! The schedule A thing is so frustrating man . Its been over a month since my spouse got her meds done and after that there has been no update on the file. The apparently is still in Mississauga. They haven't even transferred the file.
