Need some help, friends. I am sponsoring my wife. We don't have any other dependent. In Generic Application form, Point 3 (How many family members are in this application), does she need to mention 1 or 2 (including me)? I'm little confused, since I am the sponsor, should she count me or herself only?

Can't say for sure. I called after 10 days. They said the technical team has a huge backlog. I don't think they would have gotten to my file yet if I hadn't called checking up on it.

Did you send the docs with Enquirer Information as sponsor or Principal applicant?

and is there any change in your ECAS status or in your CIC account?

I called CIC this morning and they did not receive my PA's schedule A form and PCC :( I am asking him to resubmit them with a letter of explanation... if I also have him email me those documents, and I print and send them by regular mail from my address, do you think CIC will have an issue with it? Since I'm not his representative.

Everything would be in his name, except the return address on the envelope.

This is what I did for my PA and they successfully received Sched A and attached it with our application. Make a cover letter explaining your situation and let the PA sign, scan it, and send it to you through email. print it then mail it to CIC. Webform never worked for us so we submitted it through mail with tracking and signature.

I just reported a technical issue from CIC account and also using IRCC webform..

How long will they take to fix it?

I also talked to CIC call center, They are asking me to not mail the documents as these documents will stay in mail room for month at least.
Lets see if they fix it, othervice i will upload documents using IRCC webform...

So probably mailing the doc is not an option.

I mailed my PA's Sched A to the same address we sent our outland app. (P.O. Box 3000) it was forwarded to the officer looking into our file in less than a week.

Thank you SO much for this response! That is exactly what we did - we both worked on it all last evening, emailing each other back and forth. I was so nervous, though, that mailing the scanned documents would be a mistake. I'm so encouraged to hear that they accepted yours!

To everyone who sees in their ECAS or elsewhere that they have been sent a correspondence which they never received, a lot of people are having that issue. It is most likely a request for your Schedule A and police certificate. You will either have to upload them through the IRCC Webform, or mail them to this address:

Required Documents
CPC Mississauga
PO BOX 6100, Station A
Mississauga, ON L5A 4H4

The police certificate is fine as is, but the schedule A form you will have to Validate, Print, Sign it by hand, Scan it, and then submit it through the webform or mail it, whichever you choose.

Hey my wife she just typed her name on the signature area then she uploaded schedule A though via webform
Should she "Validate, Print, Sign it by hand, Scan it, and then submit it through the webform again?

I think that's kind of up to you. The advice I gave was based on the original request letter my PA received from CIC - it says to do all those things, if you are submitting through the webform. However, I have read several people on this thread saying when they called the call centre, the agent told them it didn't really matter, and that they could just use the electronic signature.

Personally, I prefer to follow the original instructions.
