I got Decision made on the sponsor application status on ECAS. No other data changed anywhere, even inside the application and on the linked account.

if its DM for Sponsorship status is it automatically approved? did yours change "In process" for Principal Application?

It's not automatically approved, but if they haven't contacted you with questions/concerns, it's most likely approved. Congrats!

ECAS changed to DM. I should expect mail from CIC. Usually comes 1 day later. No reason to expect rejection.

for sure, we have the same situation, we will get tomorrow or maybe next week.. if we don't get any, ill be happy if PA application will say IN process i will feel relief after that. means we passed the SA without emails.

I was on social assistance ( O W) from September 2014 to FEB 2015 ( 6 months ) after that I started working and making CAD 40000 a year. Its more than 24 months since I left social assistance . Do you guys think it is going to affect my sponsorship eligibility. Anybody with similar situations ?

If you met all the requirements to be a sponsor, then don't worry. It takes an average of 22 days to get SA. I've read some scenarios that take 1-2 months, but they get approved before other that got their SA right away. There seems to be plenty of variances from the normal processing times, so don't worry too much just yet.

Its been 23 days since app was recieved but they started processing it on the 16th so really 8 days ago... the waiting game sucks!!!

Im not too sure awahidi, mine was like that too. background is in progress.. can you please check your ecas if your application status change to IN PROCESS? this for PA

CONGRATS awahidi! looks like you don't miss a thing checking your ecas... hihihi.. until now i don have arequest for my shedule A, if until monday i didnt get any email regarding about this ill report the technical issues on my account.

JUST GOT THE SA email to my inbox, noting that docs will be requested soon.
