You should expect to wait a couple months. As your status indicates, the next step is for your background check to begin. When your background check begins to process, your MyCIC will read: "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

Since you are with Ottawa VO, don't expect an AOR2. You'll know your PR application is in process when you go into ECAS and it says "We started processing your application on..." The wait from here until the next step may seem miserable, since the beginning steps go so quickly, but just hang in there, Ottawa is one of the fastest VOs!

They started processing the app on the 16th for me but still no sa And sponsor says in process

Which is ecas? The one where you use an id type to log in or is it the one with the gckey?

Finally got my PA's email requesting for Schedule A.

Got DM on Sponsor's ECAS but no email corresponding to that.

I submitted the application this month (10th). Haven't received any confirmation or AOR yet, but should i get my wife to get the PCC ready? How long do they provide to submit the PCC to them?

I was on social assistance ( O W) from September 2014 to FEB 2015 ( 6 months ) after that I started working and making CAD 40000 a year. Its more than 24 months since I left social assistance . Do you guys think it is going to affect my sponsorship eligibility. Anybody with similar situations

Application delivered on march 7th.
Received AOR email(acknowledgement of application): March 23 (sponsor received email)
