I recieved my aor1 at 16 days. It can happen anywhere between 15-30 days

when counting days to my first AOR, IRCC doesn't work on the weekend right?
So i shouldn't be counting weekends.

We just received our AOR1 this morning. (Our application was sent on March 13, delivered on March 14). Looks like it only took 9 days. Hope those of you who have been waiting longer than that get some good news soon.

Its supposed to be after SA; however, people have gotten the request for the medical & the PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) before the SA in some cases.

will they give my wife any forms to take to the hospital for the medical ?

Here's where you find panel physicians near you: http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

They will give you instructions as far as when they need the medical exam from you and whether you need any additional forms. I used the old application and I didn't need to bring anything with me, but they asked me to fill out a few forms and send a copy of my passport and a passport photo beforehand. From what I've read in other threads, panel physicians won't let you schedule an exam until you get the medical request from IRCC, so don't worry too much about it until you receive correspondence from them.
