Hi AnneMariee, I've noticed you have called CIC a few times... do you always get through? I've had to book a full day off from work to be able to call them, so I'm worried that it will just be a waste of time.AnneMariee said:update on email we got today.
so I called cic now and agent said its in transit to VO. he said we may not get any email confirming that it has reached there but the email PA got today is to say that its been sent out to VO today.
so I guess further communication about application would be to VO from here on out
For my case, the GC key is in the applicant's name. Well I guess your sponsor can also check your status as long as all information in there is of PA. What will happen is the correspondence alert will be sent to the email you declared and then you check the GC key for updates. So long as you are both updated even if sponsor has the access it should be okay.Dougmeadows said:So who's name should the gckey be in? The applicants?
You can take screenshots and put a short label what the conversation was all about. This is what I did with our FB messenger conversations. Also, it would be best if you include conversations from different dates/ years to show span and genuineness of relationship.mizzcheviouz said:New here, applied end of March (delivered to the Mississauga office March 27th to be exact) and I received it back today because I did not include the 10 pages of texts and letters. We have been living together since our marriage (almost 4 years to be more precise) and just recently I came back to Canada to sponsor my husband, and even now, he's here in Canada with me on Vacation. Can anyone help me out, Can I just copy our whats app conversation and send that in?
Is gckey okay left in sponsors name and linked to my account then?riaroo said:For my case, the GC key is in the applicant's name. I think it should be in your name and linked to your account. They asked for PA's Name, Birthdate, UCI, App Number and email address when I linked my account. I don't know how your sponsor did linked your account using sponsor name. Usually there is a confirmation in your email that the link was successful.Dougmeadows said:Is gckey okay left in sponsors name and linked to my account then?
You can link the application in either sponsor or applicant's account provided that the details provided by you are of applicant. Just that every change/update on your application will be sent to the owner of that GCKey account holder.Dougmeadows said:Is gckey okay left in sponsors name and linked to my account then?
