Hey everyone...just wondering if anyone sent their 2015 notice of assessment with their application...I have noticed some peoples apps are being returned stating that their app is not up to date...However I personally have not filed my taxes yet to recieve a 2016 notice of assessment...Anybody in a similar position?

I submitted my application using 2015 NOA. I wrote it on the paper that at the time of submitting this application, I had not filed my 2016 taxes, and it was not returned. It was received march 7th and I only just filed my 2016 taxes last week Thursday.

It may be helpful to those who want to send additional documents ......



When you receive an email from CIC/NDVO/IRCC folks and the email goes to say, "please submit this form along with the requested documents". What does this mean?


"please submit this form along with the requested documents" means when you go into GCKey
Under "View my submitted applications or profiles" your press "check status and messages"
In that page you see "View submitted application" towards the bottom of the page, please press on it and then the email which you have received shows up in the shape of a pdf document on your computer.
This is considered "the form" and this is what they mean when they say "please submit this form along with the requested documents"
So what you need to do is to merge this pdf form along with your pdf documents using (http://www.ilovepdf.com/) and upload them here and submit it.



Hope this helps the folks who are currently in the process of sharing information with CIC/NDVO/IRCC .....

I posted this message under Schedule A thread but couldn't get a reply.
Any help will be appreciated.

So my situation seems weird. I, as a principal applicant, linked my application to an online account. And my husband, the sponsor, got the email saying that he was found eligible to sponsor and the PA is going to get the Schedule A form with instructions.

The request for Schedule A hasn't arrived but instead I got a message that tells me to get my medical check. Seems backward.

Is there any particular reason why I didn't get the request for Schedule A? Or should I just cool down and wait for the request (5 working days have passed already)?

Hi guys,

We go the Application # email today. Is that considered to be the AOR1?

Also, I'm trying to link my application to the Online account by it keeps failing. My wife(PA) doesn't have a family name on her passport. So I tried putting in the Full name in Family Name field on the GCKey. I also tried the UCI and App Number but that too didn't work. Tried these and other combinations:

1. App number and Last Name
2. Enter space in city
3 .Enter Country
4. Then the last section - which province, city and number of applicants =2

1. Choose Application Number & UCI Number.
2. Leave Country of Birth & City of Birth Blank.
3. Fill in remaining information exactly as IMM008.
4. Where they ask you number of people on application. Type 2 not 1.

Can someone share the link to ECAS, I'm not able to see the application there too. Wonder if I might be using the wrong link.

I dont think my lawyer wrote that I haven't done it as yet...hopefully it doesn't get returned to me..I always do my taxes in April...thanks for replying

if you filed after feb 20th with your 2015 NOA. Chances are high they might return your app requesting for a recent NOA 2016

Yea i called them from Canada and get ircc webform replied

Your application hasn’t been entered into our system yet (paper applications)

Following its reception at our Case Processing Centre, it will take some time for an application to be entered into the system :-X

So this means that we should wait more or try another request through ircc webform?
We applied on 14th march. Got AOR1(UCI and File number) on 22nd. Sponsorship Approval came in at 27th (It said that PA will get email to upload schedule A). But no request yet for schudule A or any other request in the GC-Key.

I am filling out the schedule A form and I am having some issues validating the form. Was anyone able to successfully validate the form? I have entered most recent info first and have not left any gap in time.

Here are the details:

Personal History (From - To):
April 2017 - Blank [X] Ongoing - Unemployed
Jan 2016 - March 2017 - Employed
April 2015 - Dec 2015 - Employed
...
...

When i click validate I see an error pop up saying
"Review the personal History section, it seems some information is missing.
- Enter the most recent information first
- Don't leave any gaps in time."

When I click OK, it highlights the row where I have left the 'To' date blank for the latest personal history record because its 'Ongoing'. I cannot enter a date there because when I click ongoing it freezes the 'To' Date.

What am I doing wrong?

i just received mine back about the notice of assessment and i had not even done my this year taxes.

Hi everyone, so because of the notice of assessment my entire application was returned once again, i have started this since January, and it is really frustrating, somehow i think there is just no heart in all of this. Anyways i resubmitted the application on Monday it was received yesterday, does anyone have any idea of the now time to receive AOR1? please?

You might be using an Old version of the Schedule A.

Use the latest 2017 version from http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/eIMM5669E.pdf.

I dont believe so. I submitted 2015 NOA and got SA 2 weeks ago. I did attach a letter explaining that I have not received my 2016 NOA yet and hence have attached 2015 NOA. In the checklist it says submit the latest NOA and provide explanation if you cannot submit latest one.
