I'm having some issues with CIC receiving a document they requested. They requested my CSQ in April. At that time I filed for the CSQ and received it May 27th. I sent a copy of the CSQ May 27 and June 6 (both via email as CIC has requested). I then received an email 3 days ago saying they never received it. So, I replied to the email, again, giving them a copy of the CSQ. I also submitted it via a case specific inquiry. Is there any way for me to verify the document has been received? a phone number or something?

Thanks in advance!

only way to find out, which i am thinking is GCMS.. it lists out all incoming/outgoing docs. however it takes 30 days to receive them.
CIC call centre is sort of useless for this sort of stuff.

Agreed.

If CSE is not working and no response confirming receipt of the document I would order GCMS ASAP.

I would also mail the original to the VO.

yep.. i mailed the original form too. lol. travel history.. i did email it.. but i shipped out a USPS registered mail.. cuz i worried about Canada Post strike.. i was shock to find out only took 4 days from Blaine, WA to Paris.. costs 24.00 CAD. lol. yes.. border US town takes loonie. would cost 50.00+ or more with Canada post at least 2 weeks.
if you live close to the border town like me; do it.. lol.. i even see people apply Canadian Passport at the US side. cuz cheaper to mail out.. haha

Okay, great info. Thanks for your help everybody!

Yes i do and by the way, i can never forget the way you encouraged us. They requested a police clearance since one of the dependents had just turned 18, passport size photographs and Valid travel documents. I just hope these are the final stages of the application. How about you Yijiequ? are you guys well?

Hey everyone,

This March house/Family has been so quiet. I hope things are well with each one of us and our loved ones.

Have you guys linked your applications to MyCIC Accounts? I just did mine after i failed to link yesterday. I used the application No. and UCI, my town and country of birth, i left out the passport information. i then filled up the last section of where we will settle.

For the size, please do not forget to include the sponsor and all the accompanying members.

Thanks and all the best!
I believe we are all on the last stretch.

I linked my account too. I included the passport info and I read what the other people posted on how to access the account and was in MyCIC after filling out the info once only.

There's not much to talk about when there is no updates. I started watching YouTube videos from the Embassy of Canada in Mexico City and I am now subscribed to their channel. One of the videos I just watched was in the entertainment category and it seems they did so because it was funny to watch how boring it was. Here's the link if any are curious & want to watch it https://youtu.be/Oawwc2D-CLc .

Why put in the description of the video that the objective is to present the various types of consular services and then categorize it as entertainment. Although I was expecting it to be more captivating... I'm thinking they thought this category would get more views or they didn't even bother to change the category? Oh well this is something minor i've noticed but with small observations sometimes we get a bigger picture...

Hoping they don't find it entertaining at the embassy to make us wait like this!

no DM´s this week ? >:(

Is the linking account only for paper applications?
