Hello Everyone,

Is there any March applicant who applied for spousal sponsorship... Please update...

Officer

I hope to get my application in this month! We're in Italy! Anyone else applying from here?

Sent off my Outland application today - UK Citizen.

Should I add my info to the March, April or London spreadsheet?!

Is the current average time 6.5 or 9.3 months? Seeing different averages relating to London visa office. And is there a chance my application will be processed entirely in Canada?

Thanks!

Hi! I'm applying from Europe too. In Italy with my husband. I saw that the wait time is 17 months!!!! I wanted to ask if you did the medical exam upfront? I really hope it doesn't take 17 months. I was hoping to move this year. I had no idea.

If you look at the document checklist (IMM 5491) it will say to include the medical checklist. The majority send it out along with the application, unless there is a problem and it has to be sent later, however this could delay the process of your application.

We're finding the processing time is becoming a lot faster (thankfully!) so I doubt it will be 17 months. You could check the spreadsheet to see different processing times :)

Thank you.

I just want to know where to get this medical checklist and if there is a medical form that I can get somewhere that the panel physician has to fill out. Because though it says to include an exam, I haven't been able to find a form for the doctor. Other users have said that I don't need to provide a form to the doctor, just 2 photos and a passport.

Tell them when you book the appointment that you are doing it upfront - then they know that you won't already have the id number. I don't know if our case was just a strange one, but there were some issues in our case about approving someone with vision correction so I would recommend bringing along your glasses/contact prescription if you have one, just in case.

Agreed :) I just called the panel physician (approved by CIC) and showed up with my passport. The receptionist took my photo when I arrived and I didn't need to provide any other details, just do the medical and go for the x-ray afterwards.

For January applicants, the average was about 43 days until they received acknowledgement of receipt from CIC. So expect to hear something from CIC in mid April.
My application was received on March 7 2016 (CPC-Mississauga) and I received my AOR (UCI and Application number) on April 1st.

Average on CIC website for assessment of sponsor is now 36 days. Previously it said 60 days.

I think March average will be well below the January average and less than 1 month.
