Congrats on those who have received AOR. My application was received on March 9 and I got an email from them today saying they have received it but it doesn't mention that its in process. Is this still my AOR?
If you received a UCI # and Application #, then yes I believe this is your AOR.tina19 said:Congrats on those who have received AOR. DM for PR side. :'(Officer said:Hello rsk8
DM for sponsor approval or applicant...
Tina, when you receive your first AOR,you can check your online status. I received the same email but when checked online they were more details that my sponsorship application is in process and permanent residence application is received. Do you have UCI?tina19 said:Congrats on those who have received AOR. I do have my UCI number and when I check online it says that they couldn't identifiy me or that my application hasn't been processed yet. Maybe it's just taking longer for megabba50 said:Tina, when you receive your first AOR,you can check your online status. I was wondering if anyone is doing anything in preparation for their when PR it arrives? We're currently getting our house ready to sell, so it isn't a big rush when we finally hear something. Is anyone doing anything similar?
No news today....smclintock said:Getting excited by all these AOR's coming in for everyone

Wow! ...and I thought we were organised! That will make the process much easier for when you moveCehNehDeh said:We listed our house last week and it sold within 24 hours of listing with a closing date of April 29! We were not expecting it to be so fast so now we are in a bit of a whirlwind and will be moving into an apartment until my husbands PR status comes through! Forcing us to pack and make lists so I guess the up side is we will have everything together when the time comes to move!
1) Yes that's correct, 2.neetwo80 said:I have a question about form 5841. For the number of people involved in current undertakings there is me the sponsor and my husband whom I'm sponsoring. So the total should be 2 right. I found this part confusing. We have no dependents.
Another question I have is, do I mail my application to The office in Rome as well or can I just mail it directly to Canada? The application is very long and doing 2 of them would be strange.
Another question; I'm guessing that the tax assessments do not have to be translated. I'm translating my husband's police checks, birth certificate, and our marriage certificate and that's it. Let me know if I'm right. I really don't want to make a mistake. If you're from Italy or a non English country, let me know what documents you had translated and what the process was like.
I Really hope it doesn't take too long for the translations.
Good luck to everyone!
I renovated the house last year. Ripped out all the carpets in the house and laid lamenated flooring everywhere. Build a deck that circumferenced the house and found a married couple to maintain the house (rent free) until my wife and daughter lands. It's in a city I don't live but used to work in.smclintock said:Getting excited by all these AOR's coming in for everyone

Great! I definitely think it makes sense to get all of this out the way now, instead of decorating, de-cluttering etc. when PR is granted.buonqua said:I renovated the house last year.
