My application was sent February 29th and received by CIC March 4th. Hope to hear something soon :)

Hi everyone!

I am also on the February thread because my application was sent on February 26th, but it was received on March 4th, so I'm mostly going to be following this thread as the timelines will be more in line with my own.

I'm a Canadian citizen sponsoring my Brazilian husband. We are currently living in Brazil until this process is over and my husband gets his PR. Anyone else applying from São Paulo?

Following up on my idea of starting a new spreadsheet for March 2016 Outland applicants, I realised it would make more sense if we just made sure all of our data is in 2016 Outland Spreadsheet.

That way, people won't have to keep track in multiple spreadsheets. Besides, having a common spreadsheet will also help us compare our timeline against Feb and April applicants too.

So, here is the link to 2016 Outland Spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nQFdDeeLRGrdl_DzlAumwv6nyz-oprHo5rU1bGdDdqs/edit?pref=2&pli=1#gid=658388151

Hey i want to ask you a question:
I sent my application for cic for spousal sponsorship last week.
S it okay if my husband sign the certificat de selection form and send it for me from now even before getting the approoval?
This way i can send the package to midi once i get approved and save alot of yime because it needs 15 working days to arrive

Packaged received this morning by I J, last time it was Y A.

Hope the AOR and SA comes soon.

Congrats on everyone's application getting to CIC!

So, according to my tracking number, my application arrived at CIC on March 15th, but I don't think I checked the box for a mandatory signature upon delivery - oops! Is there any way to make sure it was picked up by CIC, or do I just need to wait until they issue AOR1?

Cheers!

I did not check this box either and I received my AOR on the 17th of March. I would not worry about this.

First of all congratulation for successful submission.
You need not to worry for the signature, many people forget to check it. Since it is delivered to the correct address, the only option left is to wait for AOR1.

Good Luck to us March 2016 FAMILY and God bless!!!

Delivered this morning the 21st to cic. Now the waiting begins! What a stressful process. Why do people keep noting who signed for their package? Good luck to everyone

So I was hoping to be a March applicant but after scouring the forums first, and not finding the exact answer I have a question.

My wife is a USA Citizen - she sent in her request for FBI Clearance Jan 19 and they are saying a current processing time of 13-15 weeks. This means she won't get it until late April/early May. Do I need to wait for it or can I make a note saying this info when i send my SA and her PR apps? She doesn't have any form of proof that this was done to send them though.

One more question: If my wife will be visiting during the time the app is being sent and we don't have anything showing it is under review, do we need a return plane ticket that we can change her return date or is our border patrol somewhat understanding if she only gets a 1 way ticket and explains what we are doing?

Thank you very much - this seems like such a great community for help and support!!
