An update to my wife's Ecas not mine !!!

We sent you correspondence on May 29, 2015. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.

I don't know why this was added to my wife's Ecas only!. and I don't know what does it mean since I know from the notes that I received end of July that they received the documents they were looking for!

Is this a good sign or a bad one ???

Does anyone else see a change to his/her ecas?

don't forget to check both of your and your partner ecas !!!!

Yes, we got the document request in May 29th and we sent them back the documents in Jun 8th.

Both transactions appeared in my notes "I ordered the notes by end of Jun". So, they have the documents for sure.

After that, No further communications since then! and now they are updating the ecas after more than three months from the request !

Are they just catching up with their ecas updates or what ?

Shall I send them an inquiry?

I think,,its gonna be an ecas update...but for your peace of mind you can send them for inquiry..

I agree with Mrs.EGB. Nothing to worry about since you got the documents request, ECAS is very unreliable. On the phone they now tell you "Ecas can take up to 3 months to update" to cover their butts, lol.

That is the PPR. Same thing happened to me. They said they sent us email May 26 but it's really May 22. They just recently updated that also to our ecas. We just saw it today. At first we thought it was DM because it's already the 3rd line after in process and app received but looking closely it was just the request for PPR they send 3 months ago.

I think they are just updating the ecas. The correspondence that they sent me in May 29th was a request for more documents and information.
May be in your case it was a PPR. But, it is the not the PPR for me for sure!


I will utilize the update and send them an inquiry. The last communication between me and them was in Jun 18th when I sent them an inquiry that time and they replied to me stating that I should expect an interview request within couple of months.

I don't understand why it takes them that time to update the ecas although their internal system is up to date!
Technically, it is not difficult to link both systems and show the updates on the ecas the moment they enter the update in their internal system!

I will send them an inquiry and I will request another notes too. I hope things will be finalized sooooooon

Ok my mistake. In our case, that was their letter to us requesting for additional docs and PPR. Maybe in your case that is the request for other documents. That's just it. It was just an additional update in ecas. U dont have to bother asking them about it.

I received the following email from them in reply to my inquiry that I sent to them yesterday:

This is the second time I receive an actual response from Paris VO.

I thought all VOs are doing the same! May be because of the time and the way we ask the questions.

What is more important than the response is the information. The message didn't have any new information to me. I was hoping that they will give me any hint about the time of next step.

The information is already there. Just like us in Manila Office, what they usually say is, "your application is currently being processed by our office." What does it really mean? Is it already on it's final stage? I really don't know. Hehe.
