I don't know why it take so long, but unfortunatelly, PoS is one of the slowest VO in the world.
It's really frustrating but will worth at the end.
Just hang in there a bit more.

WOOHOO! EXCELLENT NEWS! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!

Hi,
I am from India and my husband applied for my spouse visa file on 9th march,2015 under family sponsorship category.
We recieved the clearance of sponsorship on 14th May,2015. Thereafter, the file was sent to New Delhi on 21 May,2015 for further process.
Eversince we have applied for file, the status online remains the same which says, "Application Recieved" and Medical Results recieved. There have been no change in the status till now.
Through your forum i found few comments where people applying on 15 or 25 Feb saw a change in status to in-process.
Could anyone tell how much more time it will take for march files to update their status?
Also, how much more time it will take to process the file after the status changes to in-process?
Really confused

Hi supreetdolly09 - you are in the same situation as a lot of us.
My application is the same just says Application Received and has said this since June 1, 2015 - the day we got Sponsorship approval

all I can tell you is that we are all learning to be patient
good luck in your application and welcome

So we almost had a dual heart attack today. I knew his PR card should be here any day so we're paying extra attention to the mail. We go to the mailbox and lo and behold there is a letter in the typical "Government Brown" addressed to my husband. But, he flops it around and it is obvious there is no PR card in there. Uh oh.

So he opens it and I start to read over his shoulder "Upon review of your Confirmation of Permanent Residence Form (IMM 5292), we have determined...."

at this point I'm nearly panic attacking in terror

"... that your date of landing may be incorrect."

Oh my god, I seriously almost died. They are only asking for a fax of the landing stamp on his passport. I thought it wasn't stamped at first but the landing officer did in fact stamp it (I wasn't paying attention at the landing but thank goodness my husband knew it was stamped).

So I guess the guy who landed him didn't put the right date in the computer system on form 5292, I have no idea. The date on his COPR is in fact correct though, but that is form IMM 5688, not 5292, are they looking at the wrong form? Regardless, we faxed the info off right away.

And the wait for the PR card continues! :-\

Oh my! At least someone was looking at your file and will fix the error...better than getting it with the mistake and having something worse happen down the road. Yikes!

Oh wow! I would have been in a panic as well.
At least his PR is on the way - congratulations!

Omg I would be in a hospital if I were in your shoes!

Haha ya, I was thinking this whole time that something had to go wrong at some point, yay I got my wish! j/k. In the letter they make it sound like his PR card is just on hold and will be processed right away upon receipt of the fax. But, I can't help but wonder what went wrong, maybe the CBSA officer must put a date in the computer and put it incorrectly? Because the landing dates on his COPR (our copy) are fine.
