The thing is, this is the easy part. Once you get SA, it'll be quick (3-4 months). Anxiety is a product of not knowing and uncertainty. Arm her with facts and a script and it should go easier.

My guess would be that you've been misfiled as Inland.

That's my thought too, although I don't know that we would have gone "in process" if that were the case since Inland SA takes so much longer.

I'll find out more on Monday. Hopefully I get an agent as helpful as the last one...I was a little surprised I was able to get much information since I'm the applicant and not the sponsor. But she took the file number, verified my identity and was more than willing to help.

Hi guys,
So I just logged onto ECAS and saw that my husbands application has received a decision made.

It says:
We received Shawn's application for permanent residence on March 16, 2015.
We started processing Shawn's application on June 17, 2015.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on Shawn's application. The office will contact Shawn concerning this decision.

We haven't received any correspondence what so ever from the Ottawa office. And we sent our application using a channler for the fingerprints and it was sent 5 days after they decided to stop accepting them. They just received the FBI fingerprints that I mailed on the 18th.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Morgan

From what I've understood it's a positive decision if you haven't recived any correspondence or requests from them, so I'm gonna go ahead and say congratulations!! :)

My heart actually skipped a beat when I read your post, my application was recived the same day as yours and my office is also Ottawa, so maybe I'm the next lucky one! lol

Congratulations again!

Mine was received a month and a half before both or your apps. Could I be the next lucky one? lol

Congrats, by the way! :)

Manila Usually request for passport at the very beginning of the process.

DansIh's right there is really no definite time if we are talking about MVO.:) but congratulations anyway, you are almost there! :)
