Don't worry, 97 to 98% of people are Sponsor approved , its a very high rate. If there was problems with your application they would email you if had any queries but if the fact you heard nothing at all is usually a good sign :)

Thank you for the kind words. How CIC determines if sending by email or mail?

Question: What information is CIC call center rep looking at when they say your SA is approved? Are they only looking at if files are transferred to VO? In my case I selected "if SA is rejected, transfer to VO anyway" while filling the applicatio form. So files have been transferred is not a 100% indication for SA approval.

??? ??? ??? Nothing for me yet! Where is my DM? E-case still shows In process.
Hope I can receive my SA in the end of this month!

No i wish my VO is that fast too, nobody knows what happened to my VO now, anyways I just checked the March spreadsheet and saw one of the applicant got the visa today, all the timeline is in the spreadsheet, it's Sydney VO, I wonder if it's dependent sponsorship, because married applicants will be processed faster than common-law or conjugal applicants but dependent sponsorship normally is faster than married applicants.

As you can see on emily_s' notes, she is in canada already. So maybe that made things faster for her.:)

But anyways, CONGRATULATIONS for a speedy process emily_s! ;)

Or yeah, maybe it's for a dependent.:) i'm sure yours would come sooner than later too since you are "in canada" too.:) be positive . ;D

Thank you mrsB, HKVO just took all the cases from Beijin VO in March, the processing time has been slowed down so much, I'm just worried if I can't get the visa before the end of this year otherwise my husband and I probably will go to Australia where we both can work to save up money. Hope HKVO can have more staff to work since they are making HKVO the north Asia VO, and hope every applicant a speedy processing time!! :)

Aawwee i know the struggles. We all have different "baggage" but then in the end it will all be worth it. seems like march applicants have a smooth processing so far. and yeah, i hope HKVO can do something about the workforce (if that's what causing the delays). And let's keep hoping the best for you guys. Our visa office (Manila) is trying to keep up so far. So i'll just keep my fingers crossed 'till we get the visa on hand.:)

I actually just received an email from the London Office, they did confirm my application is in their possession for processing. Phew! Least I feel better now knowing its there and not gone missing :)

OMG that's feels so good to hear that. How long did it take you to receive that email.

It took 3 days to get an email acknowledgement from London. I heard of their reputation of not answering emails and were very silent with a lot of people so I sugar coated my email as nice as possible and managed to get an answer lol. whatever works I tell ya
