DanSlh, or any quebec applicant.. A quick question about the CSQ application, I'm sponsoring my wife only(no dependents), Is 272 CAD the correct fee ?
Yes, it is.

You must allow for $272 for the first sponsored person and $109 for each additional person. If you are only sponsoring minor children, and if you must complete a sponsorship application for each child, you will pay $272 for the first sponsored child, and $109 for each additional child.

Thanks for the info! One more thing, in the payment form, in the last section, the "Principal Applicant" is me (the sponsor)? or the principal sponsored person (my wife) ?

On my understanding, you put the sponsor's info.
Taken from the guide:

Section – Information about the principal applicant (the principal applicant is the person who
submits the undertaking application)

That's what I've done. filled with my wife's information. :D

Aawwee i know the struggles. We all have different "baggage" but then in the end it will all be worth it. seems like march applicants have a smooth processing so far. and yeah, i hope HKVO can do something about the workforce (if that's what causing the delays). And let's keep hoping the best for you guys. Our visa office (Manila) is trying to keep up so far. So i'll just keep my fingers crossed 'till we get the visa on hand.:)
Manila VO has been doing pretty good since they have cases from Japan and south Korea as well, I hope HKVO can be like that. Let's hope we all have a smooth processing !!

DanSIh! Hi... did you get your CSQ? how long did it take? did they sent it to your wife here in Canada or abroad?
I just left all the forms at the Midi last friday.. :) trying to forget about it, I know Mexico will take a long time to processing my husbands application.

Good luck to everyone and have a nice week ;)

I was really worried about the sending of my husband's csq, I asked the sir in the counter and he didn't know so I placed a note inside asking for this document to be sent to me and not Venezuela! hahaha.. Something like that happened to me when I applied for skilled worker... that was back in 2011, and I am still waiting my CSQ XD

I'd be doing the same thing, you're very close to the end! I would be buying the tickets by now. Good to know you'll be here by summer :) Hopefully I will be with my husband by winter, and that's the good part of it and I am very excited hahaha.

Question: do you have to send one of the copies of the CSQ to the VO?

Their delay is maybe not that accurate! From people experiences (read somewhere else) it takes around 25 business days but from the day the payment appeared on credit card.
I hope it will be shorter for you since CSQ is the last thing needed to complete your file.
