Wow very nice DanSlh, jelious, no other visa office sends notices like that, though no wonder they get 50 applications a year I guess so that helps too they got time to do that stuff.

Wow that's nice of Brasil VO, don't think most of the VO do that after sending the AOR2. Congrats!
Yeah! I never heard about that in any other VO abroad. Only 4 or 5 brazilian friends told me the same thing :D

I'm curious: do the customs agents/border security know that you have an application in to the CIC for PR?

Every time I've flown into Toronto-Pearson in the past, I get the usual questions. I don't get my checked luggage until after I'm cleared, so how would they even begin to suspect that you're "moving" vs visiting? It's not as though I'm coming up to the counter with heaps of luggage behind me.

Yes CBSA will know that you have an application in progress for PR.

Having excessive luggage is not the only reason to be pulled in for inspection.
With Customs here in Canada it is hit or miss with being searched on secondary inspection. Sometimes its just your turn because you are number ____ in the line. If it happens to be your "turn" this is when they will look at everything and can find things that show you are more then a visitor. They really do look at everything if you are going through secondary.

That made me smile :D

Thats awesome how Brazil Vo keeps you engaged and inform you about about the progress. some VOs wont contacts up to 15 months after the SA. I always had Rio on my vacation list, now one more reason to go there :D

How long after Decision made on eCas till we receive the SA mail/email ?

Well ECAS says decision made... Letter sent May 14th. Guess this is the trend today. I'm a little annoyed though cause they say they will email you if you request that in your package but now I got to wait a while to get this letter. Postage for Mississauga to my location up North will like take a week and a half to 2 weeks.. Boo. I just want to know where our package is going.
