I would recommend you call. The agent was nice. She told me at the end that the approval letter hasnt been sent out yet, so i could have waiting a week before knowing the result. I just couldnt wait an hour 8)

I called them. The agent told me that it is not yet complete and that I should receive something very soon. I didn't tell him that ECAS is showing it as DM. I don't know why!!
I just hang up the phone !!!!!

Just waiting for the letter to apply for CSQ now!

Filling in the CSQ app so my husband sign it and send it from Venezuela right now... BTW, a friend told me it is possible to take the application to the MIDI and leave it there, in person. I'll do that, don't want to wait for Canada post!

My app is almost complete.
Already signed everything and sent to my wife.
Only thing left is the letter and she send on the same day.

I didn't know that you can drop off in person, that's great to know!

Looolz. I am not lucky at all :)
I called them again and started by saying that the decision has been made and I would like to know the decision if possible.
She told we don't release the decision information. You have to wait :)

I guess I have to wait then >:(

Congratulations guys!!!! Really happy to hear about all of your SA approvals. Seems like it's been a busy day today which is great news. Mine should be coming in soon as well now hopefully in another week or 2 weeks. :D

Btw, for the CSQ application, your husband can just sign it, scan and email it , or fax it to you. You don't have to do this by regular mail. It's in the instruction guide.

Yeah that all depends on the agent. i might got lucky and they told about the decision. but on the other hand thats why they are there go give you information about the status of your application! what options did you use on the machine? i went for 1-1-1-1

I went fro 1-1-1-1 too
She told me to call them back this Friday if I didn't receive any mails or emails!
I will try again this afternoon. Hopefully the agent will be nicer to me.

I am suspecting that my application has been rejected that is why no one wants to give me the bad news over the phone!

Do you have any reason to suspect that?
If not, try to relax and wait.
Afaik, there's a 8 days in delay between the data shown on the website under decision made and receiving any e-mail.
So if your Ecas shows that they sent you a letter on may 7, expect something at may 15. :D

Just wait man, you will be good!

It is weird my ECAS shows
"We sent you a letter on May 8, 2015 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

I called the cic and the agent told me there is no update on your file and asked me to wait for two weeks.

That is correct... BUT (there´s always a but), the same friend that told me that we could drop off the application in person, asked this, and the agent told her it had to be the original... sigh >.<
Anyway, I just called and told the agent that I had my forms signed but from January... she told me that as long CIC doesn't take too long, it'll be alright. If things get complicated, I'll verify that info one more time, maybe my friend was misinformed.
