I also called them...he didn't open my file
he asked when did you submit your application. .o told him then wait 62 days from the AOR
which is weird. ..mine received March 26 and AOR April 28
I thought the 62 days from the received date
hope he was wrong. ...

That is happened to me before for my PR application. Sometimes you get lucky and get more information. Hope to get SA soon.

I didn't get a AOR. Received SA via email. Maybe some of you who are waiting on SA might skip that stage and get a AOR2

I'm just wondering if people are receiving their Notice of Receipt of Application by email or in the mail? I need to change my mailing address but since my application is not yet in the system I'm not yet able to change my address on the CIC site.

They received my application march 6th got AOR April 17th..... No SA yet It should be coming not later than this Friday. fingers crossed CIC please switch our Ecas to decision made tomorrow..... highly anxious! ???

this means my visa office won’t take the 20 month processing time
to finish my file ???

I think it's almost sure you were been approved.
Hope I see soma changes os my ecas until the end of this week

Thanks DanSlh, I think you may have got the SA already but the ecas hasn't updated yet since your AOR was only a day later than mine.

Congratz benitaagogo and Gazee, bdw not all the time they send email, most of time they send mail ! so you can expected mail till the end of this week for sure

Thanks Lamja ) It's weird that they sent by mail since I've put my email on the file, shouldn't send emails save more $$ for CIC?

Our ECAS said that after we got an email with a decision. They will only email you if you provided an email in your application. Sometimes though the email doesn't register in the system and they sent out snail mail

CIC confuses us since we've put the email on file and got the AOR by email then they decided to send the SA by snail mail.....doesn't make sense at all :/




I will wait this week to see if my husband gets the email, if not then I'll make a call to CIC next week.

In case of CIC didn't send the SA by email and sent only by mail ,,,do they update the eCAS right away or someone can get mail before even see any change in the eCAS ??

I don't check ecas often so I'm not sure if they changed the status right away or not but I sure haven't got the mail FYI.
