You can always check their ecas system (google it!) using the number on the front side of your PR card. It is usually activated after 2 days after receiving the AOR. However, it is unlikely that they send the AOR to a wrong address. Maybe some applicants need more security checks than others because of their ethnic/religious/national background.Smile_Canada said:Its been full 1 month today since my application, and i am still waiting for my AOR.
Is it possible that they sent email to wrong id, is it possible to validate any way. Do anyone get their AORs be mail as well or just an email?

I am just curious since in the AOR it says"This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will review your application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required. When your application has been reviewed and has met basic eligibility, CIC will invite you to a knowledge test, interview and/or ceremony, as applicable."asaif said:You can always check their ecas system (google it!) using the number on the front side of your PR card. Yes it is. The only difference is that the completeness check is already performed and you have submitted all desired documents. Now they would review all documents in detail and will ask for additional documents / explanation etc if needed.draxz1289 said:I am just curious since in the AOR it says"This is to acknowledge receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. Doesnt it mean they are still reviewing all the documents and the AOR is just an acknowledgement of receipt?
Thanks for the information, that is what i was looking for that what number i can use to check ecas Status. Except for one change it didn't accepted the number on front of PR card, but instead it accepted the number on the back of PR Card along with barcode starting with PA.asaif said:You can always check their ecas system (google it!) using the number on the front side of your PR card.
