Hi I am going to apply next month , I was wondering do you have to mention your overseas addresses even if you have just traveled . Not worked

I know, right?! Anyone had the AOR email go into a spam folder on gmail? If not, then I can obsessively stop checking that folder in addition to my regular inbox lol!

It will not go to spam, unless you added cic email address specifically to spam list which I doubt.

You can add their email address to your contact/white list:

Client-update-mise-a-jour @ cic.gc.ca

* remove the space before and after @

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will review your application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required. When your application has been reviewed and has met basic eligibility, CIC will invite you to a knowledge test, interview and/or ceremony, as applicable."

How long did it take to get your AOR from day of application receiving by CIC?..

I had sent it on the March 16th and was received by CIC on the 23 I believe (I lost my tracking number after I checked it was delivered but I am certain it took a week)

So got my AOR in 15 days.. How long does it take for the next step?

But why there is no AOR for my son? I submitted ours together... Not sure if the minor doesn't have the individual AOR?

Congratulations! You will get a separate AOR for minor applicants too.

But I just got mine, I haven't got my son's so far. Not sure if CIC will send AOR for a 6 yrs old child or not?

I have got a separate AOR for my kid. Did you fill in email address in your son's application? Sometimes CIC will make a mistake when keying in the email address in the system. Give it a couple more days and call CIC.
