Congratulations, that must be an incredible feeling!

It sure is! We kinda blazed through the singapore vo. Incredibly fast and unexpected. As I mentioned, my wife is pregnant, due Jan 20...which means the 3 month wait for health should not be a problem either. And for her to have the baby here with me, means the world to us.

Words can't describe how elated we feel.

PS - sponsor part took 4 months, applicant (Singapore) only took less than 3. For Singapore Visa Office, this has got to be a first. :o

that is awesome news Koifish congrats!!

and congrats to everyone else who is getting amazing news!

Happy Thanksgiving Canada!

Good news :) Got PPR today, 13th Oct, Ecas still IP :)

Thanks everyone. We actually received better news today...pp ready for pickup. :D :D. Only took two weeks since we submitted. I feel its because we have medical expires on Nov 2. We also sent email asking for a little time to prepare move and book flight. We are definitely one of the lucky ones.

So, now this process is complete, we start the next chapter in our lives. She will be flying on monday Oct.20, through narita and vancouver en route to Ottawa. I hope everyone who has yet to plan the landing to experience it soon....its just unbelievably exciting. We are also blessed as she is in her 26th week of pregnancy...two more weeks and the baby would be born overseas.

Thanks everyone for the wonderful memories on the march thread... And of course for all your help through this journey, which helped me through the excruciatingly painful first 4 months during the sponsor portion.

God bless you all.

I'd be really interested in knowing about her landing experience at YVR and how long it takes. We will be landing there Nov 10th.

Congrats Koifish76, it's great see some successful, so quickly! We haven't heard a word about our application and don't expect to for several months, so my husband will be visiting me in January for 2 months. It's hard being apart, in our case we know each other 6 years now. We will make it too. Good luck to you both for your future!

From reading others previous landing experiences, it can take 20 mins to 2 hours plus.

Since my wife is pregnant and travelling alone, we chose a 4 hour stopover. I will post a bit more next week after she lands about the experience and steps she had to follow.

Also, on the "settlement topics" immigration section on this forum, you will find several informative threads about landing expereince in Vancouver.
