It's a long road, but worth it inshAllah :)

COPR arrived today :)

My fellow March Applicants :)--Finally I have some good news to share with you. My wife just picked up her passport with the CORP. We are lost for words. Singapore is getting better day by day...I guess. Though it took exactly 8 weeks to get the passport back. For us, it took just little over 7 months(Application filed on March 7,2014) and I have seen it all :-\. Thanks for all your support. This forum rocks! I wish you all the best with all your pending applications.

Anyone here from Mexico visa office? My husband applied in April and we are still waiting for PPR!

WE GOT DECISION MADE AT LAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It only took them 2 weeks rather than 4-6 weeks like for the others, to reach their decision after I sent the passport.
I hope my story will inspire other people trying to get a visitor visa while their spouse is a Canadian, or people applying from tough VO's like Singapore, that as long as you have a strong and through application, you can overcome anything.

They said to me, it's impossible to get a TRV for your spouse if she's married to you. Well, she got a mulitple TRV for life of passport!
They said to me, it's going to be a 30 month wait for your wife to get PR because she's from Singapore VO, but it looks more like 7 months (it would've been 6 months if she didn't visit me for a month on her TRV).

But I'm here today to say to anyone out there, who's doubtful or fearful about their application, I just say to them, give it your best effort and send in lots of proofs (I went completely insane and overboard with my proofs), and good things will happen!

A big thanks to the people on the March 2014 thread, and this forum in general, for all the helpful hints and tips. I never knew about things such as FBI channelers not accepted, TRVs require substantial proof of returning home, and what red flags triggers interviews. I really couldn't have done it without this forum.

Update the spreadsheet please O_guy or agrand!

Congratulations, congratulations! You must be thrilled. I'm sure that there are lots on here hoping to follow in your footprints soon. Let us know when you land and what the process was like, okay?

Hi Everyone - We received PPR on Monday. Ecas changed to DM on Tuesday, Oct 14. Please update the spreadsheet. :)

I feel like I know you after reading through ALL of the pages

I am and there was one other person but they got PPR right away so they haven't been active since. Have you received any communication from the Mexico office at all other than AOR 2? When did you get your AOR 2?

Edit: just remembered you sent your pgr at the end of August. Ok I dunno what yours said but my aor from the Mexico office said that they typically process our type of applications in 6 months so if I don't hear anything within 6 months I should contact their office. For me, my last communication with them was in July, so if I don't hear anything else by December/January I'm going to send them something asking what's going on. But I did order GCMS notes on sept 29 so I'll have that too. Maybe you should order some too, just so you aren't completely in the dark.

Mikeymyke big congratulations!! I am very happy for you. Saying that I hope you won't quit the forum now, you have always been a great help\support for me and others :)
