Thank you folks...yes I m excited to share the news as well :) :) :)

I bet you are! A heartfelt congrats to you Calgary_man. :D

I received an email a few days ago.

What happens next?
You may be contacted at any time during this process to provide additional information before a decision is made by an officer. Once a sponsor’s eligibility has been assessed, the sponsor is informed of the eligibility decision in writing.

Please note that while the sponsorship application is in process, email inquiries about the status of the application will not be acknowledged and you will not receive a response.

The last sentence was in bold letters. I don't know what to make of this at all. Every email I have sent them was to inquire about whether they received my form that I resubmitted. Although, this email was in response to an email I sent well over a month ago. I have sent three....wonder if they will reply or not, and should I hope they don't reply (if it means my application is finally in process)?????
Ah, it's ok I guess, it will happen when it does. Thanks mikeymyke for kind words dude.

It means they're giving you a strong hint to stop contacting them for now.
But I think you'll be okay koifish, it would be surprising if they didn't get your form. Hopefully things now go more or less according to the timeline - just set from the date you sent them the re-submitted form.

i tried to update spreadsheet but failed, can we no longer edit ?

Congratulations!! I have updated the spreadsheet for you. Sadly, someone messed up the spreadsheet a few months ago, which forced us to limit those who have edit rights.

On a different topic, my wife received visitor visa. Very happy about that but our ultimate focus remains the sponsorship process.

OGuy, congrats on the visitors visa. It'll be nice for you guys to be together for a while.

Koi fish, is that all the email said? Just what you copied there? I'm thinking we could probably consider it your AOR if they gave you a UCI.

Update from me, guess I'm lucky Mexico is working pretty fast. I emailed the doc they requested on Thursday and said that I would be sending the hard copy by mail the next day. I received an email today, 3 business days later saying...

"We acknowledge receipt of the documents you have recently submitted.

At the moment, there is no need for further action on your part.

Our office will contact you should we require additional documents or information.

Thank you for keeping your correspondence to a minimum."

I am planning to send an update package with more relationship evidence next week in the mail, and tomorrow I'm going to prepare the letter I will email them when the baby is born just so that it's ready and can be sent ASAP afterwards.

I hope everything is going well for everyone else. Glad Calgary man has finally heard back, and although it's not SA I'm glad they did finally send you something koi fish. I'm sure you will get SA soon now.

agarand8, it is great that they are working fast. It appears that most of the VOs are starting to process applications within 6 months. Several folks who submitted applications in January to Manila VO already received PPR. CIC is doing well and I hope that continues. And if this 6-month timeline continues, my wife's PPR should come while she is visiting me, which we can just send on registered mail.

Hi everyone! I'm actually new here. Our application was approved last March 21, 2014 under common law. I'm a little bit worried, we already submitted the e-medical to CEM and still no change in our ECAS as of to date.

this doesn't mean anything. Not all VOs update ECAS regularly. It may be updated at some point, it may not. My advice is to keep a copy of EVERYTHING just in case it's requested again in the future (not saying it wil, just saying it's better to be safe than sorry). :)

Thanks for your reply :) I actually kept a copy of the e medical before giving the original one to the embassy. Thanks! :)

Seems like slow week for everyone.. :'(
