Im going through Warsaw They work quite fast + i was lucky at the beginning coz i got sponsorship approval after 22 days or so U can check all my dates on spreadsheet, im last on the list I didnt expect them to update ecas on Saturday lol, i thought they do it on Tuesdays mostly

My AOR said applications from their office are taking an average of 6 months to process assuming there are no delays. But we did see that desipty who is a march applicant, already received ppr. Ahhhhh. Lol so fast! Yay! Hope our medical doesn't delay too much. I would love to be In canada for Christmas with my love this year.

As for this post, I looked over the Spouse Sponsorship timelines (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/fc-spouses.asp) and it says Mexico VO takes 16 months to process application. Anyway, I hope it takes only 6 months for you. Just don't be sad if he doesn't arrive by Christmas.

16 months is like worst case scenario. It said right in my AOR 2 that the average is 6 months. If you read up I actually typed out the exact paragraph because mikeymike asked me about it. Christmas will even be cutting it close for 6 months but I can still hope. Only thing that might delay us more is the medical stuff but we will see what happens.

I have a theory, I believe that when ecas shows that your medical results have been received it means that medically the health branch has made a decision on your file.
