What info did they try looking you up with? I called last week and they weren't able to look up our app by receipt number but the nice man did manage to do it with my name, and gave us a temporary file number (not UCI). Then this Tuesday we got AOR and yesterday we got SA Our application was also received on the 21st, I'm confident yours will come soon ;Dpameyb said:Day 41..... still no AOR
I called them 2 days ago, and the call centre said application not in the system yet.
The call centre guy asked for my name and then asked if it has been over 34 days since I applied to which I said yes. He then put me on hold for couple of mins. He then said in order to discuss application he needs to verify some more info and asked for my address and telephone number. At this point I thought my application is in the system as he is verifying my info. But after I gave the info he said your application is not in the system yet. They are nearly there with applications received around your date so you should hear back soon. Then he said call us back on Monday if you havnt heard anything by then.Obronibini said:What info did they try looking you up with? That is your AOR..Calgary_Man said:is that all u get first? where is Aor? :'(
The UCI and File Number should be at the top of the email.Calgary_Man said:Does that mean file number is given in SA email?
Ah. That's a temporary AOR because they sent an inquiry when you called the call centre. I got one of those too and a real AOR with my file number and UCI later.Calgary_Man said:i pasted my whole email here, that all i got :'(
They are fairly quick with updating the address and it shouldn't cause delays. I would make the change as you don't want your mail getting lost.Heroine said:hi guys
Got another UCI number from my mail on Apr 29 which my husband got his on Apr 9.
I used my UCI to check the status online and I found there's some problem which my address,it's a minor problem which they wrote the unit number to 381g instead of 38/G,apparently it was too lazy to input incaps and also the "/" which the input person input it as"1"
i just contacted cic with online inquiry forms,im wondering if this act will delay my application since they need to take my case out and reinpu and re-queue again?
thanks
