Hi Aditya, Congratssss!!! Finally...CIC started ...May I know your ECAS status?!

Hi everyone,

I just completed my medical exam (got delayed because i never received the first email they sent in Sept).

This question might have been covered before, but can someone outline the process after the medical is submitted with the estimated time line.

I appreciate the help and apologize for any repetition.

Could someone help explain the spreadsheet and the short forms for me? I'm new to this forum. What does RPRF Fee / BIODATA Request mean?

This is our timeline - Arrived in Canada Ontario from Scotland 1st June 2008 on TWP. CEC sent 24th March 2014, CEC arrived 28th March 2014. AOR received 16th April, Medicals done 27th Oct. Police check sent 28th November.

Thanks and good luck everyone!

My Timelines are as below, can someone please update the sheet

Application Received: March 10th 2014
AOR Received: March 29th 2014
Medical Request: Sep 18th 2014
Additional Documents Request: Sep 19th 2014
Documents Submitted: Oct 20th 2014 (PCC and T4)
RPRF: Upfront Oct 28th 2014
Passport Request: Jan 09th 2015
Status: Decission Made

Status changed to In Process: Nov 28th 2014
Status Changed to Decission Made : Jan 11th 2015

I would like our info added onto the spread sheet. this is what has happened so far CEC sent 24th March 2014, CEC arrived 28th March 2014. AOR received 16th April, Medicals done 27th Oct. Police check sent 28th November.

Hoping to hear back soon as our work permits expire mid April and my husband is over in Scotland until end of March. He has to be in Canada before he can apply for a BOWP so what would the best thing that we can do? BOWP are taking 45 working days to process.

Thanks!

Hi,
don't bother about the BOWP processing time. Just make sure you will apply before your current WP expires. You'll be on implied status (able to work) beyond the date of the current WP validity.

Your application is in good shape , Don't send anything , hopefully you will hear good news soon.
Hi Gurinder,
I need your view on my case. AOR received on 15 april, 2014.....medical request on 8 oct 2014 medical received on 15 oct 2014. There isn`t any communication since then. I did apply in nov. bt haven`t heared nything. plz suggest me if there is something i can do.

Regards

I applied at the start of March and have heard nothing from CIC since I received my AOR. Not even medical requests.

I obtained my GCMS notes in December, and everything is fine except the reviewing officer has noted (s)he thinks my job description seems to match another NOC code. They even specified which NOC code they think I should have used. However, CIC has not contacted me.

Any suggestions on how I can move my application forward now? Should I wait until CIC contact me, or get my HR department to reissue my employment letter with an amended NOC code and email that to be attached to my file? Or anything else?

My police certificates will expire in 3 weeks, so I really hope CIC can reopen and easily approve my file this month.

However my husband can't get work unless he has a BOWP, he's working in Scotland because his employer no longer works at the same location stated on his work permit. He's been out of work here in Canada since 1st June last year. Started working in Scotland 1st September as he could not get an LMO here in Canada :(
Keeping my fingers crossed it come in soon so he can come back to his family. Other wise he is in Scotland until out PR comes through.
Thanks for the info :)
