Hi ondang2,

Sorry to hear that your application was sent back. But let me tell you it still indicates that your application is on fast track. Some people on this forum have got their applications returned after 4-5 months, which is sheer waste of time.

I have some questions for you...
1) How old is your kid and whether he/she is a Canadian citizen or one of the applicant along with you?
2) Does your returned application file has any marking/notes on it or any dates written/printed/stamped on it such as received date of processing date or it is in "as is" condition as it was sent.
3)What kind of formal proofs are they looking for your child's education?

1. Hi i have 2 children my son is 7 yrs old and my daughter is 13 yrs old they're not canadian, both included on my application.

2. Yes there was a date of processing and they check all your date input like when did you become permanent residence every answered in your application they will check it, and they put my picture on the application with stamped....i received also a letter the reason of incomplete application which my children report card and also a letter if i still want to continue my application or i want to refund my payment....


3. They were asking for school report card bec. On my son school record i only submit his school attendance without the report card....and they also asking the 4 yrs school record for my son, since my son started to attend school last 2010 so i will explain to them that the only school record that my son have is from 2010 only to present.....

I sent my application on 7th march, received by CIC 12th March
I still have no news. I am wondering if processing has started and if my application was incomplete, do you think it would have been returned to me by now?

Sent application on Feb 27 and received at CIC on Mar 3rd.

ECAS updated on Apr 16th to 'In Process' status. Processing start date - Apr 9th.

ECAS updated to 'In Process' status. Processing start date - April 11th

Acknowledge letter sent on March 5th (this what they wrote in my online application status) but I didn't receive it until today April 17th, I am in Mississauga. Is it normal?

How did you know the processing on your file started on April 17th if you can not see on E-CAS or you did not receive any letter yet? Did you call them on Thursday and they informed you over the phone? If that the case I would expect your case will show on E-CAS on Sunday or Tuesday at the latest.

Hi,
Im not able to see my ecas update but when I called today the cic call center was able to find my application. The agent mentioned that my application was received on March 18, 2014 and the AOR was sent out on Apr 28-2014. Can anyone please let me know when my ecas will be updated? also if they have sent out AOR does that mean my application is complete?
A response will be greatly appreciated

This is interesting, I called them this morning (two different time, spoke to two different agents). They said they are working on opening applications received on March 7th. For those of you who applied after that date, how did you get the agent to give you the information? They wont even look at their system as I sent in my application on March 10th.

Also, how do you check the ecas without the AOR? Are you using your PR card number?
